Love (爱, Ài) is one of the most central LIFE qualities in the Lifechanyuan theoretical system. III. The Essential Characteristics of Love: No Object, No Words, No Selfishness, No Conditions¶
Lifechanyuan's definition of Love differs fundamentally from humanity's everyday understanding of "love."
（I）Love Has No Specific Object — The Sun Analogy ("Love Is a State," full original):
The sun eternally radiates its light and illuminates all things. The moment the sun has an object to illuminate, it is no longer the sun — it has become a searchlight, a flashlight, or a spotlight.
Love is like the sun radiating its light; Love is like a flower in full bloom — it is a state. The sun never said "I love you!" The flower never said "I love you!" Whether or not anyone is there to appreciate it, whether or not bees and butterflies come to gather nectar, the flower always blooms in its season.
（II）Love Always Brings the Positive ("Love Is a State," full original):
What Love brings to people, other LIFE forms, and other things is always warmth, auspiciousness, harmony, goodness and beauty, happiness, positive energy, and infinite longing. Love never brings coldness, turmoil, ugliness, vexation, pain, negative energy, or despair to people, other LIFE forms, or other things.
Love will not cause people to be hurt. If "love" causes people to be hurt, to feel dejected, to feel vexed, to suffer, to feel hatred, to feel disappointed and despairing — it is certainly not Love.

Since ancient times, "I love you" has been an ever-unchanging beautiful melody; people become intoxicated upon hearing "I love you"… Today I have finally discovered that "I love you" is an illusion — it is ever-changing cloud and mist, a beautiful bubble with seven-colored rings that appears for a moment and vanishes, a sedative.

IV. The Levels of Love: From Demon to Human to Bodhisattva-Angel-Buddha¶
The breadth of one's love domain directly determines the level of a LIFE. This is one of the most profound revelations in Lifechanyuan about Love.

From this we know: one who loves all under Heaven — that is a Buddha, one who works for the benefit of the people under Heaven — that is a Buddha.
One who only loves oneself, who only thinks for oneself — that is a demon.
One who only loves one person or a few people, who only works for the benefit of one person or a few people — that is an animal.
One who only loves a group of people, who only serves a certain group of people — that is a human.
（II）When a Person Says "I Love You," They Are Desecrating Love ("Love Is a State," full original):
From this we can see: a selfish person who only loves themselves is in actuality a child of demons. One who has only one love object — such as husband and wife or an exclusive romantic-sexual relationship — is in actuality the lowest animal.
One who only loves their own family members and relatives is the lowest-level human.
One who only loves their own ethnic group, religion, collective, political party, or country — but not others' — belongs to the human level.
But one who with all their nature, strength, and mind works for the benefit of all humanity without seeking any benefit for themselves — they are certainly not a human being, but a Bodhisattva, an Angel, a Buddha.
In actuality, human beings are not qualified to speak of Love. Love is the exclusive domain of Bodhisattvas, Angels, and Buddhas.
When one person says "I love you" to another person, they are desecrating Love.

All things have feeling (referring to LIFE). The content of feeling determines the level of a LIFE; the narrower the feeling domain, the lower the level of LIFE; the broader the feeling domain, the higher the level of LIFE.
Taking people as an example: if a person only has feeling for one or a few people, their feeling domain is narrow and their LIFE level is low. If a person has feeling for all people, their feeling domain is broad and their LIFE level is high. If a person not only has feeling for people, but for all sentient beings, for mountains and rivers, the earth, the sun, moon, and stars — that person is no longer an ordinary mortal; they have reached the celestial-human level and belong to the category of celestial LIFE.

V. Love and Heaven and Hell: Love Content Determines LIFE Space¶

The lower the level of LIFE, the more it lacks feeling and love. What is called Hell? A place without feeling and love is called Hell. The higher the level of LIFE, the richer the feeling and love. What is called Heaven? A place full of feeling and love is called Heaven.

The Thousand-Year World is purely a world of truth, goodness, and beauty; a world of love; a world of peace; a world of happiness; a world of elevated human nature. Any person who has attained perfect human nature can go there without question; there is no limit on numbers.

Among all methods of cultivation and practice, the cultivation and practice of Love is the most core content for elevating LIFE quality, and also the most direct method. Without the cultivation and practice of Love, even if a person devotes themselves to cultivation and attains spiritual powers, they cannot become an Angel or an Immortal-Buddha — they can only become a demon. For the essence of LIFE lies in structure, in the symmetry, harmonious proportion, and perfection of structure. A LIFE without Love is absolutely imperfect.

LIFE is elevated within Love. Love melts and purifies the impurities in the LIFE structure, enabling a person who is ignorant, barbaric, agitated, and violent to learn civilization, learn tolerance, learn gratitude, learn to create and give — transforming a muddled person into a worldly person, a worldly person into an ordinary person, an ordinary person into a wise person, a wise person into a celestial person. Without the immersion and baptism of Love, a person will forever remain in the most primitive state, forever unable to know the mysteries of Heaven.

Love is a kind of antimatter existence. Only by possessing Love within oneself can one perceive Love. Without Love within oneself, one can never perceive Love.
Only by having eyes oneself can one see the eyes of other LIFE forms. Only by not being color-blind oneself can one see the kaleidoscopic colors of this vast world.

To be elevated within Love, one must learn to receive Love and release Love. Those who are unwilling to receive Love have narrow hearts, twisted characters, and distorted psychology — their inner world is like a sealed dark room that never lets sunlight and fresh air in, stuffed with hatred, resentment, selfishness, and grievances that they believe to be valuable.
We must not only receive Love, but also release Love. Only receiving without releasing can only result in expansion and bursting. People who commit suicide for love are actually those who have received too much and released too little, ultimately causing a burst.

Every person should cultivate their soul garden well. Clear out jealousy, selfishness, anger, fury, hatred… Sow and plant flowers and plants such as truth, goodness, beauty, love, faith, sincerity, harmony, diligence, courage, selflessness, dedication, service, care, tolerance, understanding, sympathy, and compassion.

Lifechanyuan itself is a paradise of Love, an ocean of Love. I am setting an example for everyone through my own words and deeds. I want everyone to actively participate in the building of Lifechanyuan; the process of your participation is the process of cultivation and practice, and also the process of Love. I do not place great weight on the result of building Lifechanyuan; whether or not there is a result is not very important — but the process is very important. The cultivation of Love lies in the process, not in the result; without the process, there is also no result.

Humanity has never truly experienced the joy that Love gives to people, because humanity has never created an environment of Love… The lamb of Love should live in a flock of Love, not a pack of wolves.
Therefore, to be elevated within Love, it is best to cultivate and practice in Lifechanyuan.
VIII. The Relationship Between Love, Feeling, and Nature: The Three Treasures of LIFE¶

Feeling, Love, and Nature are the Three Treasures of LIFE.
All LIFE — from plants, insects, and animals to humans — as long as it is LIFE, has these three treasures.
Love is the mark of a LIFE's antimatter structure. If a person only loves a few people in their lifetime, the antimatter structure of that LIFE is not much different from an animal's — and may even be narrower in love domain than an animal.
If a person loves all sentient beings under Heaven, that person is no longer an ordinary mortal — they are at the Bodhisattva-Angel level.
The more objects of Love, the broader the love domain; the more perfect a LIFE's antimatter structure.

Feeling, love, nature, and sensuality are all the natural expression and most primordial content of existence — the most precious constituent factors of LIFE, the source of all joy, and the most essential driving force by which LIFE is able to live. To obtain a beautiful life and a beautiful future, one must put in effort on feeling, love, nature, and sensuality — to immerse in them, not to escape from them. True romantic love is selfless. Once there is selfishness — once one attempts to treat the other as one's private commodity or as one's own embellishment or appendage — such romantic love becomes extraordinarily ugly, revealing the pettiness and overbearingness of a slave master. The noble romantic love that was like poetry and painting falls into the trap of low-grade taste, and can no longer cultivate the fragrant flowers of Love.
（IV）The Proper Degree of Love (Article 586, full original):
The proper degree for handling romantic love: go along with conditions as they arise, act according to one's nature, respond as opportunities arise; when feeling comes, let the heart show; when feeling goes, let the heart be empty. No attachment, no obsession, no possession, no monopolization. If both sides are willing, proceed; if unable to resonate at the same frequency, do not force it. Use making both parties happy and joyful as the measure.
IX. Love and Truth-Goodness-Beauty: The Six Great LIFE Qualities¶
