Sincerity (誠 Chéng) — Internal Edition¶
In Lifechanyuan terminology, LIFE (capitalized) refers to the ontological essence of existence — the soul/antimatter structure that persists across incarnations — while life (lowercase) refers to the experiential stage of human existence in this world.

I. Overview and Definitions¶
Sincerity (誠, Chéng) is one of the six core LIFE qualities explicitly defined in the Lifechanyuan theoretical system — alongside Truth, Goodness, Beauty, Love, and Faith — an attribute of the Greatest Creator, the fundamental foundation of being human, one of the most important flowers in the soul garden, a necessary condition for journeying to the Kingdom of Heaven's Thousand-Year World, and the inner driving force of the Second Home's Hundun Management. In the Lifechanyuan system, "Sincerity" encompasses two dimensions: honesty (the complete alignment of inner heart with outward speech and action — heart and mouth as one, seeking truth from facts) and integrity (the complete alignment of promise with action — words followed by deeds, commitments kept without fail). These two united constitute chéngxìn (诚信), the first wealth of human life, the quality of advanced LIFE, one of the passports to Heaven.

You must seek truth from facts and speak truthfully! You must come and go directly, be candid and transparent! Do not cover up, exaggerate, or minimize the facts! IV. Sincerity Is the First Wealth of Human Life: The Cosmic Economics of Trustworthiness¶

What is sincere trustworthiness? Sincere trustworthiness is honesty plus integrity: Honesty + Integrity = Sincere Trustworthiness. When persons interact with one another in genuine sincerity and trustworthiness, the cost of interaction is very low; conversely, the cost of interaction is very high.
In a society where everyone is sincere and trustworthy, that society is auspicious and harmonious; conversely, it is perilous and turbulent.
Most of life's worry, suffering, anxiety, sorrow, and fear comes from not practicing sincere trustworthiness; most of life's joy, happiness, peace, calm, and harmony comes from sincere trustworthiness.
Therefore, although sincere trustworthiness cannot be eaten as food, sincere trustworthiness can lower the cost of living and bring auspiciousness and good fortune.
Human life has three categories of wealth: material wealth, spiritual wealth, and soul wealth.
Among the three categories of wealth, soul wealth is the first wealth, spiritual wealth is the second wealth, material wealth is the third wealth.
Sincere trustworthiness belongs to soul wealth; therefore sincere trustworthiness is the first wealth of human life.
Since sincere trustworthiness is the first wealth of human life, pursuing sincere trustworthiness is the first priority of being human.
If a person lacks sincere trustworthiness, that proves their soul wealth is impoverished — they are poor in soul.
Those who are impoverished in soul wealth are also inevitably impoverished in spiritual wealth; though those who lack sincere trustworthiness may obtain material wealth — even vast material wealth — they will absolutely not obtain peace of mind, equanimity of disposition, tranquility of emotion, or security of protection.
Lacking sincere trustworthiness may yield temporary material benefit and false reputation, but ultimately one will inevitably pay a heavy price for lacking sincere trustworthiness.
Even if one pays no price during one's living life, one will pay the price all the same after death.
Those who practice sincere trustworthiness are angels; those who do not are the progeny of devils; those who lack sincere trustworthiness will absolutely have no beautiful future, and will not be received by Heaven.

V. Rather Starve Than Break Faith: The Life-and-Death Practice of Integrity¶

Lifechanyuan is built on the foundation of Great Faith. This Great Faith is: faith in the Greatest Creator, faith in the Way, faith in Christ Jesus, faith in the Buddha Shakyamuni, faith in the Immortal Laozi, faith in the Prophet Muhammad; faith in facts, faith in science, faith in logic, faith in spiritual sensing, faith in cause and effect, faith that humanity has a beautiful future.
The above Great Faith is the content of Lifechanyuan's faith. The extension of this faith is: Lifechanyuan will absolutely not break faith with society, will absolutely not break faith with persons; what we have said we will keep; we will honor our promises … we would rather starve to death than betray the trust of others.
Without faith one cannot stand; a person without faith does not know how to conduct themselves; a person without faith cannot count as a person — one may call them a soul, but they do not count as a person.
Others may lack faith, may not keep their word, may not honor what they say — but we in Lifechanyuan, we Chanyuan Grasses, must have faith, must keep faith, must honor what we say.
Seeking truth from facts, speaking truthfully, standing upright and proper, acting in open and upright ways — this is one of the qualities of Chanyuan Grasses; and to achieve this one must have faith, must keep faith.
Heaven belongs to those who have faith and keep faith; hell belongs to those who lack faith and do not keep faith; as long as we have faith and keep faith, we will have a bright future.
Rather starve to death than betray the trust of others — this is one of Lifechanyuan's principles.

Relying on cleverness and deceitfulness will not achieve greatness; the brilliance obtained by relying on cleverness and deceitfulness is temporary, will absolutely not last long, and will never obtain peace of mind and spirit. When one thinks oneself very clever, one is actually already very foolish — because there are many people more clever and more deceitful than oneself; especially when one takes self-satisfied pleasure in one's little cleverness and little tricks, one has actually already blocked the beautiful future path one should have had, and the path to Heaven has also been closed off because of one's dishonesty.
Therefore, honesty is the highest policy for being human. Although honest persons may occasionally suffer losses, from the perspective of a person's entire life, honest persons ultimately come out ahead; especially in the Second Oasis, any little cleverness, little tricks, deceitfulness, or cunning have even less soil or environment for survival — being an honest person is safest.
Speak Honest Words
Persist in seeking truth from facts, speaking truthfully, being consistent in heart and mouth, consistent inside and out; whatever the heart thinks, the mouth says; any exaggeration or concealment of the truth will be seen through by people and will make people disgusted.
One cannot lie; yes — say yes; no — say no; if one seeks excuses to cover the truth, uses flowery words, says one thing and means another, plays both sides — that is dishonesty.
Do Honest Deeds
Whatever one does, do it earnestly, do it carefully, strive for first-rate quality — do not go through the motions, do not be careless.
Do not do petty thieving things, do not do sneaking-around things, do not do opportunistic things, do not do mysterious and murky things, do not do things that violate law and discipline, do not do things that harm others, harm society, harm life, harm great nature. Only do the most openly bright things in the world, the upright and magnanimous things, the natural things, the things that are not afraid of the police and society knowing them, the things that are solid and down-to-earth, the things that do not make the heart jump when someone knocks at the door in the middle of the night.
For all those who cultivate and practice, first cultivate honesty; first be an honest person, speak honest words, do honest deeds. If this point cannot be achieved, everything after is empty — it is a waste of time and energy, it is a flower that blooms for a moment and is very difficult to bear fruit, it is all useless.

XIII. The Historical Significance of Sincerity in the Lifechanyuan Theoretical System¶
First: For the first time, "Sincerity" is elevated from the level of ordinary morality to a cosmic ontological attribute — "The Greatest Creator is sincere trustworthiness" (Article 543); Sincerity is not merely a human virtue but one of the essential attributes of the Greatest Creator; to emulate the Greatest Creator is to live out sincere trustworthiness.
Second: For the first time, "keeping faith" is elevated to the height of criminal ethics — "Breaking faith is a form of crime, and is the most vicious in nature among all criminal activities" (Breaking Faith Is a Crime); this establishes the absolute ethical status of integrity.
Third: For the first time, sincere trustworthiness is positioned as "the first wealth of human life" — through the cosmic economics framework of three categories of wealth (soul wealth > spiritual wealth > material wealth), the argument is made that sincere trustworthiness belongs to soul wealth and therefore ranks first (Sincere Trustworthiness Is the First Wealth of Human Life).
