Soul Garden (Internal English Version)¶
I. Overview¶
Soul Garden is one of the core cultivation concepts in the Lifechanyuan ideological system and the foundation of Chanyuan Celestials' cultivation practice.
Soul Garden is one's consciousness. Consciousness is the Soul Garden, and the components within consciousness determine whether the Soul Garden is beautiful or ugly. The degree of perfection of the Soul Garden determines what kind of LIFE a person can achieve—a perfect Soul Garden enables one to become a Celestial Being or attain Buddhahood; an ugly Soul Garden leads to becoming a ghost or demon.
From the perspective of LIFE's essence, LIFE is a sentient antimatter structure. The core of this antimatter structure is consciousness, and the state presented by consciousness is the appearance of the Soul Garden. What kind of Soul Garden one has determines what kind of LIFE structure one has, and thus what kind of LIFE destination and future.
Xuefeng clearly states: Purifying people's inner Spirits, that is, Soul Garden construction, is humanity's top priority. Spiritual crisis is humanity's greatest crisis.
II. Nature and Connotation of Soul Garden¶
(I) Soul Garden Is Consciousness¶
Human behavior is determined by consciousness. Consciousness is the Soul Garden, and the components within consciousness determine whether the Soul Garden is beautiful or ugly. When a person's consciousness is filled with worship and pursuit of money and power, filled with a sense of superiority attempting to be above others, filled with comparison, jealousy, hostility, greed and other psychological factors, then this person will inevitably bring harm to others and society.
(II) Soul Garden Is the Core of LIFE's Antimatter Structure¶
LIFE is a sentient antimatter structure. Consciousness originates from antimatter structure; what kind of antimatter structure exists determines what kind of consciousness exists. The state of the Soul Garden directly reflects the quality of LIFE's antimatter structure. The more perfect the structure, the higher the quality, the better the living space, and the greater the degree of freedom.
Each person's consciousness and spiritual frequency is determined by their LIFE's antimatter structure. What kind of antimatter LIFE structure exists determines what kind of vibration frequency their consciousness and inner Spirit have. The higher the vibration frequency, the closer to Heaven; the lower the vibration frequency, the closer to hell.
(III) Relationship Between Soul Garden and LIFE (LIFE Essence)¶
LIFE's essence is the soul; the soul's essence is consciousness. Therefore, consciousness is LIFE. The process of perfecting the Soul Garden is the process of LIFE's antimatter structure moving toward perfection, and is also the prerequisite and guarantee for LIFE ultimately reaching higher Heaven spaces.
The longer one is happy and joyful, the more perfect and stable LIFE's antimatter structure becomes, and LIFE increasingly approaches Heaven. The purpose of Lifechanyuan cultivation to perfect the Soul Garden is to purify consciousness.
III. Composition of Soul Garden: Weeds and Flowers¶
Soul Garden consists of two types of components: weeds/poisonous plants and flowers/crops. The ebb and flow between these determines the beauty or ugliness of the Soul Garden.
(I) Weeds and Poisonous Plants That Need Removal¶
Weeds and poisonous plants in the Soul Garden include:
Jealousy, complaint, comparison, anger, harshness, resentment, fury, hatred, revenge, selfishness, greed, possession, control, laziness, sorrow, grief, guilt, shame, contempt, fear, cowardice, negativity, negativity, pessimism, arrogance, conceit, cynicism, strife, debate, desire, apathy, suspicion, falsehood, hypocrisy, cunning, cruelty, sneakiness, mysteriousness, etc.
Measured by consciousness energy level: These weeds and poisonous plants all have energy levels below 200. Specifically: - Shame energy level is 20 - Guilt is 30 - Apathy is 50 - Grief is 75 - Fear is 100 - Desire is 125 - Anger is 150 - Pride is 175
Without removing these weeds, vibration frequency can only hover below 200, making health extremely difficult, let alone going to Heaven.
Greed, hatred, delusion, arrogance, and doubt are also typical weeds in the Soul Garden. All negative, pessimistic mental thoughts and emotions are weeds in the Soul Garden.
(II) Flowers and Crops That Need Planting¶
Flowers and crops in the Soul Garden include:
Truth, goodness, beauty, love, faith, sincerity, harmony, serenity, openness, selflessness, diligence, courage, cleanliness, neatness, simplicity, kindness, optimism, positivity, humility, tolerance, gratitude, compassion, mercy, devotion, service, care, consideration, etc.
Measured by consciousness energy level: - Love energy level is 500 - Joy is 540 - Serenity and happiness is 600
LIFE with a Soul Garden free of weeds and poisonous plants but full of truth, goodness, beauty, love, faith, sincerity, peace, humility and other flowers possesses good LIFE quality.
(III) Watershed: 200¶
Scientific research has found that 200 is the watershed of consciousness energy level. Below 200 carries negative energy and is prone to illness; above 200 carries positive energy and will definitely not get sick. Therefore, to avoid illness, one must strive to make their vibration frequency exceed 200.
Above 700, one has transcended the human category and entered the state of sage, angel, bodhisattva, Celestial Being, or Buddha. The minimum energy level for the most elementary Heaven LIFE is 500.
IV. Core Position of Soul Garden Construction¶
(I) Foremost Gateway in Cultivation¶
Soul Garden construction is the foremost gateway to climbing life and LIFE's peak. Without passing this gateway, let alone reaching energy level 1000, even reaching 300 is very difficult.
Three cultivation essentials: 1. Must undergo great inner Spirit purification, that is, Soul Garden construction 2. Must completely settle worldly ties and repay all debts 3. Accumulate sufficient merits
Soul Garden construction is primary, the foundation of foundations.
(II) Foundation of All Construction¶
Soul Garden construction is the most important among all Second Home construction. If Soul Garden construction cannot keep up, all efforts will ultimately become chaotic. The source of all crises is spiritual crisis.
Without a relatively perfect spiritual state, forming a perfect living system is extremely difficult, whether it's a family, enterprise, community, political party, ethnic group, or nation. Each member's spiritual state determines the group's quality of life.
(III) Prerequisite for Consciousness Formatting¶
The core path of Chanyuan Celestials cultivation is: continuously format away human consciousness and install Celestial Being consciousness. The prerequisite foundation for all this is building one's Soul Garden well, removing weeds and tares from deep within the inner Spirit, letting flowers and crops like truth, goodness, beauty, love, faith, sincerity, serenity, and harmony grow vigorously in a positive, optimistic manner.
Without removing weeds, human consciousness cannot be replaced by Celestial Being consciousness, and the path to becoming a Celestial Being will never open.

V. How to Construct Soul Garden¶
(I) Three Major Energy Sources¶
To construct the Soul Garden well, one must first absorb powerful spiritual energy. Without powerful spiritual energy infusion, Soul Garden construction is empty talk. Spiritual energy has three major sources:
First: Reverence and Faith in the Greatest Creator¶
Derived from deep understanding of the fairness of the Way. With reverence and faith in the Greatest Creator, a person builds an internal tribunal for their own thoughts, words, and actions, will not act recklessly, will not be tempted by evil, will not harm LIFE, society, or nature.
Second: Listening to Teachings of Deities, Buddhas, Celestial Beings, and Sages¶
Listening to the teachings of Christ Jesus, Buddha Shakyamuni, Sage Laozi, Hundun Yuanchu, etc., people's minds become bright and clear, can distinguish right from wrong, can find their coordinate system and coordinate point, can know how to be human.
Third: Deep Understanding of Causality and the Law That Positive and Negative Energy Sum to Zero¶
Knowing what seeds are sown determines what fruits are reaped, knowing that giving and receiving are always equal, thus pursuing only truth, goodness, beauty, love, faith, sincerity, diligence, and harmony throughout life, no longer calculating gains and losses, entrusting one's life including LIFE's future to the Way's management, living without complaint, regret, hatred, or remorse.
(II) Specific Construction Methods¶
Step 1: Recognition and Perception¶
Face oneself honestly, sit quietly and reflect on one's own faults, truly examine where weeds and poisonous plants exist in one's consciousness, do not avoid, do not cover up.
Step 2: Remove Weeds¶
Eradicate jealousy, complaint, comparison, anger, resentment, selfishness, greed, laziness, arrogance, apathy, cowardice, sorrow, fear and other weeds and poisonous plants—this is the foundation.
Weeds and poisonous plants in the Soul Garden all cause scars on LIFE structure. Pollution is instantaneous, but removing pollution requires a long time.
Step 3: Sow Flowers¶
Sow and plant truth, goodness, beauty, love, faith, sincerity, harmony, diligence, courage, selflessness, devotion, service, care, tolerance, consideration, compassion, mercy and other flowers and plants.
Step 4: Continuous Nourishment¶
- Through reading Chanyuan Corpus and Xuefeng Corpus elevate understanding and transform thinking
- Through communal living's edification and tempering continuously purify
- Through participating in Home labor and formless giving accumulate merits
- Through games and entertainment maintain happiness and joy
Step 5: Comparison and Verification¶
Display one's quality in daily life's minutiae—Chanyuan Celestials' cultivation is based on constructing one's Soul Garden. Those with beautifully constructed Soul Gardens display their perfect quality everywhere, not only harmoniously coexisting with people, society, and nature, but also making their existence beneficial to others, society, and nature.
(III) Communal Living Is the Optimal Dojo for Soul Garden Construction¶
Communal living is the best cultivation dojo. The Second Home program itself is a smelting furnace that can gradually dissolve a person's ego, selfishness, greed, jealousy, emotionality and other negative factors. Anyone wanting to live in the Second Home should consciously give themselves a great spiritual purification.
Lifechanyuan purifies the inner Spirit, develops thinking, and perfects consciousness unknowingly and joyfully. Practice proves this method is indeed effective—after spending time in Lifechanyuan and returning to the secular world to interact with worldly people, one discovers great differences have emerged; one's inner content has changed. Actually, this is LIFE's antimatter structure changing.
VI. Relationship Between Soul Garden and Health¶
Soul Garden is directly related to physical health. Physiological diseases originate from spiritual and mental defects. When a person's spirit and inner Spirit gradually improve and perfect, not only will they not get sick, but original symptoms will also gradually heal.
As long as there are no weeds in the Soul Garden, the body will definitely be healthy, will not get sick, and will not encounter unexpected disasters. When the Soul Garden is full of poisonous weeds like comparison with others, jealousy, anger, resentment, arrogance, complaints, troubles, pain, anxiety, and worries find their root causes. Removing the poisonous weeds, these emotions will heal without treatment.
Xuefeng prescribed a series of remedies for Home Chanyuan Celestials to not get sick, the core being: reduce survival worries, bring happiness and joy, paradise living environment, participate in physical labor, games and entertainment, Hundun Management reduces pressure, guide Heaven longing, freedom in love and sexuality—all these prescriptions are essentially perfecting and constructing the Soul Garden.
VII. Relationship Between Soul Garden and Heaven¶
(I) Soul Garden Determines LIFE's Destination¶
What kind of LIFE structure exists determines what kind of space one lives in. Heaven is set up for the perfect; hell is set up for the flawed. What kind of LIFE state exists determines what kind of living space exists.
The degree of perfection of the Soul Garden directly determines a person's LIFE vibration frequency, and vibration frequency determines which level of Heaven one can enter. The gate to Heaven is a frequency gate. Only LIFE that has reached Heaven consciousness frequency can enter Heaven without obstruction.
To go to Heaven requires climbing two great mountains: 1. One is programs created by humanity (family, ethnicity, nation, religion, political party) 2. The other is the Egypt of the Spirit—jealousy, comparison, complaint, arrogance, anger, possession, domination, hatred, doctrines and dogmas, strife, greed, laziness, striving, etc.
Without clearing this garbage from the inner Spirit, Heaven cannot be reached.
(II) Soul Garden Determines Consciousness Formatting Progress¶
Guide roadmap completes consciousness formatting in three steps: 1. First step: Replace human consciousness with Thousand-year World Celestial Being consciousness 2. Second step: Replace Thousand-year World Celestial Being consciousness with Ten-thousand-year World Celestial Being consciousness 3. Third step: Replace Ten-thousand-year World Celestial Being consciousness with Elysium World Celestial Islands Super Celestial consciousness, ultimately achieving Super Celestial status and proceeding to Celestial Islands
Whether one can harmoniously enter and integrate into Second Home living from the human world is the first step in verifying how well the Soul Garden is constructed. Whether one can harmoniously integrate into Thousand-year World replica living from Second Home is the second step. Then proceeding from Thousand-year World replica living into Ten-thousand-year World replica living is the third step. The final step is entering the Celestial Islands Continent of the Elysium World.
(III) Soul Garden in Heaven Is Naturally Perfect¶
The reason Heaven implements Hundun Management is fundamentally because LIFE living in Heaven has pure inner Spirits. The more perfect the inner Spirit of LIFE, the less management is needed; the uglier the inner Spirit of LIFE, the more compulsory management is needed.
the Thousand-year World has no management, no management hierarchy, yet everything is orderly, precisely because the Celestial Beings there have perfect Soul Gardens.
From the feasibility of Hundun Management, the existence of the Thousand-year World can be deduced—precisely from the fact that Chanyuan Celestials' Soul Gardens gradually perfect in the Second Home and life becomes increasingly harmonious, Heaven's true existence can be seen.
VIII. Relationship Between Soul Garden and Entering Second Home¶
Anyone wanting to live in the Second Home should consciously give themselves a great spiritual purification. Weeds and poisonous plants in the Soul Garden such as jealousy, complaint, comparison, blame, laziness, grievances, complaining, anger, fury, resentment, complaint, criticism, negativity, pessimism, cowardice, worry, fear, anxiety, sorrow, etc. must be removed cleanly. These negative emotions and psychological states only make one's soul ugly, consciousness confused, lower LIFE quality, and block the road to Heaven.
After Entering Second Home, Chanyuan Celestials' Top Tasks:¶
One: No longer complaining or grieving, but construct one's Soul Garden;
Two: No longer displaying oneself everywhere, but dutifully do one's own work well and excellently;
Three: No longer worrying about others or managing others' affairs, but concentrate on perfecting oneself;
Four: No longer looking at this unfavorably or that unsatisfactorily, but concentrate on achieving oneself;
Five: No longer criticizing, educating, or guiding others, but implement learned theory in one's own words and actions, focusing on whether every detail conforms to deities, Buddhas, Celestial Beings, and sages' teachings;
Six: No longer pursuing material benefits and enjoyment, but pursuing spiritual and inner richness;
Seven: No longer discussing and commenting on others, no longer gossiping or sowing discord, but pursuing harmony and coexistence with every brother and sister;
Eight: Be a simple and honest person, not a shrewd and capable person; be a person who seeks truth from facts and speaks honestly; be a person who acts according to nature, plays games, entertains like a child, not a sanctimonious hypocrite.
IX. Social Significance of Soul Garden Construction¶
Whether a country is civilized depends on whether its citizens' Soul Gardens are perfect. If Soul Gardens are not perfect, this country is definitely not a civilized land. To make a country enter the ranks of civilization, the first thing to do is perfect citizens' Soul Gardens.
For humanity to enter civilized society, relying on visible factors like systems, power, laws, wealth distribution systems, weapons, relief, charity is unworkable. Only by purifying every global citizen's inner Spirit and eliminating weeds and poisonous plants from Soul Gardens will it work.
Seeing two people quarreling, fighting, having conflicts, it's definitely because both people have too many weeds and poisonous plants in their Soul Gardens; seeing two ethnic groups in conflict, it's definitely because both ethnic groups' members have spiritual problems; seeing two countries at war, it's definitely because both countries' peoples have spiritual problems; seeing nature frequently experiencing floods, droughts, hurricanes, fires, etc., it's definitely because all humanity's inner Spirits have problems.
The people's inner Spirits need a purification. This is the best path for humanity toward favorable weather, peace under Heaven, and everyone fully enjoying life's beauty.
X. Eight Paths to Elevate LIFE Frequency¶
Soul Garden construction is the foundational work for elevating LIFE frequency. On this foundation, eight paths can elevate LIFE frequency to 500 (primary Heaven standard) and above:
One: No impediments in the Spirit—Only with no impediments in the Spirit will vibration frequency significantly increase;
Two: No resentment in the Spirit—No resentment means no obstacles to elevation;
Three: No arrogance or fear—That is, no arrogance and no fear of any kind;
Four: Break through LIFE's universal gravitation—That is, no debts and worldly ties;
Five: Maintain daily joy and happiness;
Six: Optimistic, romantic, interesting;
Seven: Formless and non-striving, adapting to circumstances, transforming with conditions, moving according to nature, acting opportunistically;
Eight: Maintain a reverent heart, following one's heart without transgressing rules.
Next is thinking upgrading, progressing from material thinking, image thinking, associative thinking, illusory thinking, mental thinking, Taiji thinking, formless thinking, to Hundun thinking, ultimately reaching the highest LIFE realm of selflessness, egolessness, and non-attachment.
XI. Relationship Between Soul Garden and Chanyuan Celestials' Cultivation Roadmap¶
Chanyuan Celestials' completion of the cultivation roadmap from human to Celestial Being goes through four core tasks: repaying accumulated debts, accumulating Heaven treasures, perfecting the Soul Garden, formatting human consciousness with Celestial Being consciousness. Among these, perfecting the Soul Garden is the foundation and prerequisite. Without this prerequisite, the other three cannot truly take root.
Three Steps to Becoming a Celestial Being:¶
First step: Bid farewell to troubles, pain, sorrow, anxiety, and fear, living in happiness, joy, freedom, and blessedness—already a Celestial Being.
Second step: Spirit abides nowhere, no impediments in the Spirit, freely wandering with conditions, naturally free, always in pleasure—already a Celestial Being.
Third step: No mind, everything is nature living in nature, flexible, harmonious, exceptionally sensitive, possessing sixty-four supernatural powers, freely self-consistent, united with the Way, carefree and elegant.
From the Soul Garden perspective, the three steps to becoming a Celestial Being are precisely the three stages of the Soul Garden from having weeds, to removing weeds, to flowers flourishing, to ultimately the garden merging with the universe as one.
XII. Historical Significance¶
Soul Garden construction is one of Lifechanyuan's core contributions to human cultivation culture. It organically integrates Jesus's teaching of "cleansing the inside," Buddha's "pure mind," Laozi's "cleanse the mystic mirror," as well as modern psychology and energy science (Hawkins Consciousness Energy Map), providing the most concrete operational plan for spiritual purification: weed list clear, flower catalog explicit, energy levels quantifiable, cultivation methods practically implementable.
Xuefeng says: A person's Soul Garden is the foundation for what kind of LIFE that person achieves. A perfect Soul Garden enables one to become a Celestial Being or attain Buddhahood; an ugly Soul Garden leads to becoming a ghost or demon.
This statement is Lifechanyuan's most concise summary of the entire cultivation path, and is also the historical position of the Soul Garden concept in human spiritual civilization history.
