1) Core Definition¶
Within the Lifechanyuan framework, the Ten-thousand-year World is a real higher-life realm in the Kingdom of Heaven.
It is described as a physical world about 3,480 light-years from Earth, roughly 16 times Earth’s size, inhabited by about 100 million Celestial Beings whose lifespan is around 35,000 years (relative to human-world time).
Like the Thousand-year World, it belongs to the positive universe: concrete, tangible, and objective—not metaphor, not allegory. Its existence is explained through a core cosmological principle: the law that the sum of positive and negative energy is zero.
2) Position in the Cosmic Structure¶
Guide Xuefeng describes 20 parallel worlds. In that coordinate narrative:
- Human world: xy world
- Thousand-year World: xy-z world
- Ten-thousand-year World: x-y-z world
- Celestial Islands Continent: xyz world
In the Heaven hierarchy, the Ten-thousand-year World is the middle layer:
Thousand-year World → Ten-thousand-year World → Elysium World
The Guide uses a “cosmic velocity” analogy:
- 1st cosmic velocity: Thousand-year World
- 2nd cosmic velocity: Ten-thousand-year World
- 3rd cosmic velocity: Elysium World
(Here “cosmic velocity” is a doctrinal analogy, not a physics formula.)
3) Environment and Life Pattern¶
3.1 Stellar and regional structure¶
The Ten-thousand-year World is described as having 16 equally spaced suns, creating 16 luminosity zones. One zone is permanent night, rich in gemstones used by Celestial Beings to illuminate dwellings, absorb subtle essence, and beautify cave residences.
3.2 Diet by cultivation stage¶
Diet changes with level:
- Early stage: harder fruits (e.g., walnuts, dates)
- Mid stage: softer fruits (e.g., peaches, grapes)
- Later stage: mineral spring water
- Advanced stage: direct absorption of cosmic radiance and subtle qi (“those who feed on qi become spirit-like”)
3.3 Flight as cultivated capacity¶
Flight is not automatic. It is acquired over long periods:
- Newcomers: walking only
- ~10,000 years: low-altitude flight
- ~20,000 years: mountain-level flight
- ~30,000 years: very high-altitude flight
3.4 Landscape imagery¶
Texts describe vast seas, immense mountain ranges, and ultra-high peaks, presenting the realm as a destination of beauty and aspiration for Chanyuan Celestial cultivation.
4) Signs and Standards for Arrival¶
Two major verification dimensions are emphasized.
4.1 Dream-sign dimension¶
The texts propose: the more refined one’s nonmaterial structure of LIFE, the more elevated and coherent one’s dreams become. Repeated dreams of extraordinary beauty, free flight, and fear-free joy are treated as signs of possible access to the Ten-thousand-year World.
4.2 Consciousness-state dimension¶
The criterion includes ordered consciousness, a more perfected structure of LIFE, Celestial Being qualities, and flight capacity. A stable, fear-free, non-attached joy state is repeatedly highlighted.
5) Relationship with practice and cultivation¶
The Ten-thousand-year World is not presented as accidental destination but as structural result.
The core cultivation trajectory is:
- Repay debts and conclude unresolved earthly ties
- Give, serve, and accumulate merit
- Refine and perfect the nonmaterial structure of LIFE
The time-scale contrast reinforces this logic:
- Human world: ~80 years
- Thousand-year World: ~1,000 years
- Ten-thousand-year World: ~35,000+ years
- Celestial Islands Continent of the Elysium World: no fixed limit
So in this framework, aspiration toward Heaven is rooted in both quality of realm and longevity of LIFE.
6) Sitting Transformation and Reincarnation Routing¶
A central doctrinal point: Celestial Beings in the Ten-thousand-year World do not “die” in the ordinary human sense; they undergo sitting transformation.
After sitting transformation, destination is determined by consciousness quality:
- No worldly thought at all → rise to the Elysium World
- Ordinary thought appears but remains limited → continue another cycle in the Ten-thousand-year World
- Frequent worldly thought → descend to the Thousand-year World
- Worldly thought + enacted attachment → reincarnate into the human world
“Worldly thought” includes attachment to status, wealth, power, possessive intimacy, private property, jealousy, resentment, and related emotional formations.
This creates a clear upward/downward routing model within the LIFE cycle.
7) Middle-layer Function in the Heaven System¶
The Ten-thousand-year World serves as the critical middle zone of Heaven:
- It is above entry-level heaven (Thousand-year World)
- It is below highest transformation space (Elysium World)
- It hosts long-cycle refinement before potential ascent
In doctrinal terms, it is the stage where Celestial Beings deepen transformation through long-duration cultivation and consciousness purification, orienting toward the Celestial Islands Continent.
