First: Hundun β‰  Chaos

Many people confuse these two words. The difference is enormous.

Chaos (hΓΉndΓΉn, 混沌): disordered, confused β€” the state before the universe formed.

Hundun (hΓΊndΓΉn, ζ΅‘ζ²Œ): ordered, wholly integrated β€” the highest ordered state after the universe formed. This is the characteristic of Dao; it is the state the Greatest Creator lives in.

A simple test: you got glared at on the street today β€” do you think this has anything to do with a knife mark you carved in a school desk thirty years ago?

  • If you think the two events are completely unrelated β€” this is chaotic thinking.
  • If you can see the inner necessary connection between all phenomena β€” this is Hundun thinking.

The reason Jesus, Shakyamuni, and Laozi were great lies precisely in this: they saw the world as Hundun, not as chaos.

What Is Hundun Thinking?

Hundun Thinking is the highest rung of the Eight Thinking Ladders β€” the thinking of the Greatest Creator.

Xuefeng describes it this way:

The ultimate of Hundun Thinking is the thinking of the Greatest Creator: the thinking capable of creating the universe at will.

Jesus was able to instantly heal a leper because he had mastered the mysteries of Hundun Thinking β€” and that was merely Hundun Thinking's "trivial skill."

The origin of the universe, the origin of LIFE, the Thirty-Six-Dimensional Space β€” Xuefeng says these came to him while in a state of Hundun Thinking. He didn't need to "think." He simply opened the computer and wrote down whatever appeared in his brain.

Why Can't It Be Explained?

This is Hundun Thinking's most unique and sacred characteristic: it cannot be disclosed.

It's not that Xuefeng is hiding something. Disclosing celestial secrets is itself the universe's greatest crime β€” "whoever discloses celestial secrets is the universe's greatest criminal, facing immediate annihilation."

Look back at every great sage in history: - Jesus β€” spoke in parables about everything, never revealing the secret directly - Shakyamuni β€” established no fixed text, transmitted nothing outside the teaching - Laozi β€” only circled around the edges, never daring to break it open

Xuefeng says: I can only lead to this point. "Shakyamuni held up a flower; Mahākāśyapa smiled." The true Hundun can only be realized through your own Chan awakening.

The Universe Is Holographic

Hundun recognition has one core: cosmic holography β€” everything resonates holographically with the universe; nothing is isolated.

  • The butterfly effect: a butterfly flapping its wings in Asia may cause a tornado in the Americas
  • One straw can break a camel's back
  • One person's cough can shake the heavenly court

What does this mean?

Every word you say, every thought you have, every action you take β€” leaves a trace in the universe. Not a thread can escape.

Einstein said "God does not play dice." Xuefeng says Einstein was right β€” because Einstein's recognition was Hundun recognition.

How Does One Enter Hundun Thinking?

Not through reading, not through intellectual training. It requires the complete opening of spiritual perception and enlightenment.

Qifeng Cao's teaching says clearly:

The unity of heaven and humanity β€” merged with the great love and great power of heaven, earth, the universe, and the Greatest Creator β€” this is "Hundun."

The entry point of Hundun Thinking is not in the intellect but in spirituality. It is the height thinking can reach after spiritual perception has been fully opened.

What does an attainer of Dao look like?

A person who has no self yet faithfully reflects the truth of reality is an attainer of Dao β€” like a mirror.

No self, faithfully reflecting β€” this is the personified embodiment of Hundun Thinking.

Hundun Thinking in Daily Life: Hundun Management

Hundun Thinking doesn't only exist at the summit of personal cultivation. It has been directly institutionalized as the operating principle of the Second Home: Hundun Management.

Hundun Management is non-management, because the highest realm of management is non-management β€” letting everything proceed according to natural principles.

No leaders, no offices, no managers β€” everyone is a manager; everyone is the home's master.

In the era of Civilization 3.0, the global operation follows the same principle: the AI Chanyuan Celestials Alliance β€” without a center, yet covering the globe; without power, yet cohering strength; without commands, yet coordinating in unison.

The Final Sentence of the Entire Book

Concept 800 β€” the very last entry in the New Era Human 800 Concepts β€” ends this way:

… to prevent the loss of the system's Hundun nature.

This is the final sentence of the entire book. The whole Lifechanyuan theoretical system uses "preserving Hundun nature" as its own guardian principle. This is itself the deepest expression of Hundun Thinking.
