III. The Fundamental Distinction Between Hundun (混沌) and Hundun (浑沌): Hundun Is the Highest Ordered State of the Universe

Hundun Thinking is built upon an understanding of "hundun" (浑沌) as the cosmic essence — hundun is not chaos but the highest ordered state after the universe formed; it is the substance of the universe and the characteristic of Dao.

If one believes everything is a random event, all coincidence — that the flapping of a butterfly's wings in Alaska has no connection to a storm at the Cape of Good Hope, that tripping on a banana peel today has no connection to the rotten apple one threw out the window ten years ago — then this thinking is chaotic (hùndùn) thinking. The reverse is Hundun (húndùn) thinking.

That is to say, if one can connect being glared at on the street today with a knife mark carved in a school desk thirty years ago, seeing the inner necessary connection behind all phenomena — this is Hundun Thinking.

One can say with certainty: among humanity, 999,999 in a million see the world as chaotic phenomena; only one in a million sees the world as Hundun phenomena. The reason Jesus, Shakyamuni, Laozi, and others were great lies precisely in their seeing the world as Hundun, not as chaos.

Chaotic recognition is narrow, one-sided, partial, and linear. Hundun recognition is broad, comprehensive, holistic, and nonlinear.

The characteristic of Dao is Hundun. Chaos is the appearance of Hundun; Hundun is the substance of chaos.

Knowing that the world is Hundun — that it is an integrated whole, holographic, an indivisible totality — one should be careful in speech and conduct. Every word, every action, every thought, every forum post will directly affect the future of our LIFE; not a thread can escape. In the end, bitter fruit must be eaten by oneself: if one year is not enough, ten years; if ten years are not enough, a hundred years, a thousand years, ten thousand years. Without awakening, continuing to create evil, one will struggle in the bitter sea of hell for tens of thousands of eons.
