Elementary Cultivation¶
Elementary Cultivation is the first tier of the Lifechanyuan cultivation system. It centers on 51 rules of daily conduct and begins with prayer to the Greatest Creator (Zhuanzhu-Fotzu-Shangdi). Its purpose is to clear negative thought patterns, regulate daily behavior, and help practitioners attain a life of health, abundance, and freedom in the ordinary world — while laying a solid foundation for Intermediate Cultivation. The Guide uses the metaphor of a silkworm "spinning its cocoon": the cocoon of structured conduct protects the growth of new life within, serving as the indispensable first step toward higher cultivation and ultimately becoming a celestial being.
