Inverted Illusions (Diāndǎo Mèngxiǎng)¶
Inverted Illusions (颠倒梦想, diāndǎo mèngxiǎng) is a term from the Buddhist Heart Sutra — "free from inverted illusions, one reaches ultimate nirvana" — adopted by the Lifechanyuan system as a core diagnostic of spiritual obstruction. It refers to all the confused perceptions and delusive thinking that arise when the mind clings to attachments: restless rumination, anxious grasping, comparison and resentment, fear of death. When the mind is free from attachment (无挂碍), inverted illusions dissolve; ultimate nirvana follows, and the way to the immortal realm opens.
