II. The Source of Ling: The Vibration Wave of the Greatest Creator's Heartbeat¶
There is only one source of Ling β the Greatest Creator. The Ling of the Greatest Creator, like a gentle mist of rain, is distributed evenly across every space and time of the universe, permeating all of cosmic space-time and driving all material motion and the heartbeat of every living being.

The heartbeat of every living being is driven by the vibration wave of the Greatest Creator's Ling. The Ling of the Greatest Creator is not only the first mover of the universe but also the eternal mover of the universe. The "superstrings" that scientists have glimpsed as something mysterious and unfathomable are precisely the Ling of the Greatest Creator.
So what is the source of the "evil spirit" in the phrase "evil spirit," the "manifestation" in "a bodhisattva manifests," and the "possession" in "spirit possession"? And what is the truth behind "spiritual capacity," "spiritual power," "Spiritual Sensing," "the paranormal," and so forth?
If you place a sponge, a towel, a wooden block, and an iron block outdoors and let the gentle mist of rain fall on them, you will find that the sponge absorbs the most water, the towel somewhat less, and the iron block the least β even though the rain falls equally on equal areas. Why does the sponge absorb so much more than the iron block?
The sponge absorbs more because its structure has much more open space, while the iron block's structure is dense with little open space. The more hollow an object's structure, the more water it can absorb; the denser, the less.
The Ling of the Greatest Creator is like that gentle mist of rain, distributed evenly across every space and time of the universe β or rather, the vibration wave of the Greatest Creator's Ling drives all material motion and all heartbeats without any attenuation. The reason some beings have high spirituality, strong spiritual power, and keen Spiritual Sensing is related to the structure of the LIFE form, just as the sponge, towel, wood, and iron absorb different amounts of water because of their different structures.
Here we discover a phenomenon: the emptier a thing is, the more it can hold; the fuller a thing is, the less it can hold.
The implication for human beings is this: the emptier a person's heart is, the more freely it can move with the Ling of the Greatest Creator; the fuller a person's heart is, the more it is blocked from moving with the Ling of the Greatest Creator. In other words, the height of a person's spirituality, the strength of their spiritual power, and the keenness of their Spiritual Sensing depend entirely on whether their heart is empty or full. The emptier the heart, the more it can resonate at the same frequency as the Ling of the Greatest Creator; the fuller, the less capable it is of that resonance.
From this we can derive a conclusion: the emptier the heart, the higher the person's spirituality, the stronger their spiritual power, the keener their Spiritual Sensing; the fuller the heart, the lower the spirituality, the weaker the spiritual power, the duller the Spiritual Sensing.
With this conclusion in mind, I invite you to read the Heart Sutra. Every mystery will become luminously clear.
The Heart Sutra in full:
The Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, while practicing the deep perfection of wisdom, clearly saw that the five aggregates are empty and crossed beyond all suffering.
Shariputra, form is not other than emptiness; emptiness is not other than form. Form is emptiness; emptiness is form. The same is true of feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness.
Shariputra, all phenomena bear the mark of emptiness; they do not arise, do not cease, are not defiled, are not pure, do not increase, do not diminish. Therefore, within emptiness there is no form, no feeling, perception, formation, or consciousness; no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touch, or objects of mind; no realm of the eyes, and so on up to no realm of consciousness; no ignorance and no end of ignorance, and so on up to no aging and death and no end of aging and death.
No suffering, no origin, no cessation, no path; no wisdom and no attainment, because there is nothing to attain.
The Bodhisattva, relying on the perfection of wisdom, has no hindrance in the heart.
Because there is no hindrance, there is no fear; freed from all illusion, one reaches nirvana.
All buddhas of the three times rely on the perfection of wisdom and attain supreme, complete enlightenment.
Therefore know: the perfection of wisdom is the great sacred mantra, the great luminous mantra, the supreme mantra, the unequaled mantra β able to remove all suffering, true and not false.
Thus proclaim the perfection of wisdom mantra: Gate gate pΔragate pΔrasaαΉgate bodhi svΔhΔ.
No hindrance in the heart means no fear β means freedom from all illusion β means complete nirvana β means becoming an immortal, a buddha β means going to the land of ultimate bliss and attaining eternal LIFE.
Is there grounds for this? Yes. No hindrance in the heart is an empty heart. An empty heart can resonate one hundred percent at the same frequency as the Ling of the Greatest Creator. Resonating with the Greatest Creator means being with the Greatest Creator. The Greatest Creator is eternal; therefore one becomes eternal.
What is an "evil spirit"?
An "evil spirit" is a vibration wave that opposes the Ling of the Greatest Creator. Any person who places themselves in opposition to the vibration wave of the Greatest Creator's Ling becomes an "evil spirit." To describe it concretely: "evil spirits" are everywhere β they fill all of empty space.
A "bodhisattva manifesting" is a form of revelation given to human beings by Heaven. Such manifestations occur almost every day β sandstorms, super-hurricanes, hailstorms, floods, droughts, snow in midsummer β all these phenomena are "bodhisattva manifestations."
"Spirit possession" means that a LIFE which has already departed, due to resentment or regret, has been unable to pass on and is stranded in "the space between the yin and yang worlds," borrowing a living person's body to express its will. There is also the case in which a predecessor's powerful thoughts influence and control the thinking of a contemporary person β for example, a living person has no thoughts of their own and borrows the thinking of their predecessors to analyze every current situation. In short, anyone who merely relays and expresses the thoughts and will of others rather than thinking their own thoughts and forming their own will is exhibiting the phenomenon of "spirit possession."
In this sense, the majority of human beings are possessed LIFE forms.
The practical application of the Greatest Creator's Ling is simple: empty the heart, remove all hindrance, and resonate at the same frequency as the Ling of the Greatest Creator β this is the best way and the best path.

III. The Frequency of Ling: 1 Hz β The Cosmological Basis of "All Things Carry Ling"¶
Ling is a vibration wave with a frequency of 1 Hz β the only frequency in the universe capable of permeating all space and time, and the most precise cosmological explanation for "all things carry Ling."

We commonly speak of soul, spiritual power, Spiritual Sensing, the heart-mind, and spirituality. We also say "deft with heart and hand," "hearts in tune," "telepathy," "spiritually blessed," "miraculous medicine," "utterly unresponsive," and "creatures suffering greatly." So what, exactly, is Ling?
Ling is a vibration wave β a vibration wave produced by the consciousness activity of all living beings. Since it is a wave, it has a frequency, meaning the number of times it repeats per second. When something occurs once per second, that is 1 Hz.
If a living being vibrates fewer than 20 times or more than 20,000 times per second, the human ear cannot hear that vibration. A butterfly's wings, for example, vibrate only 5 to 6 times per second, so we cannot hear the sound of a butterfly flying; but the vibration frequencies of a bee, a fly, and a mosquito are 320, 352, and 640 per second respectively, so we can hear them.
All material structures are produced by different vibration frequencies. The higher the frequency, the more complex the structure; the higher the frequency, the more formless the thing. Perfect art β the beauty of the human body, for instance β is also a crystallization of vibration frequency. The higher the vibration frequency of the mother during pregnancy, the more beautiful the physical appearance of the child.
We find that different frequencies produce different material forms, while the frequency of Ling produces different LIFE-consciousness forms. Thus, what frequency of Ling one receives is enormously relevant to the formation of one's LIFE structure. Which frequencies of Ling should we accept, and which should we reject?
Since Ling is a vibration wave, it has a frequency. During our time in our ancestral home, the Thousand-Year World, all the frequencies we received were a kind of sound from nature β though that sound is qualitatively different from the sounds of nature on Earth. That sound, or rather that frequency, is the frequency of the Greatest Creator β the Ling of the Greatest Creator.
Since Ling is a vibration wave and the vibration wave of the Greatest Creator permeates all space and time of the universe, we can say with certainty that "all things carry Ling." Not only do plants and animals carry Ling β mountains, rivers, stones, and houses do too.
We now find that "all things carry Ling." In everyday life we receive not only Ling from the Greatest Creator but also vast quantities of Ling from plants, animals, mountains, rivers, spirits, and demons. And unfortunately, most of the time human beings receive not the Ling of the Greatest Creator but the Ling of other human beings and of those crying out in grievance, or even the Ling of arrogant beings from higher spaces. These forms of Ling cause great damage to our LIFE structure β unless we distance ourselves from them and return to the embrace of nature.
The sounds of nature do not specifically mean the sound of wind, rain, birdsong, frog calls, thunder, and ocean waves; rather, they mean sounds at frequencies below 20 Hz β the sound of plants growing, the sound of flowers opening, the sound of the heartbeat, the sound of clouds drifting. We know that infrasound can be harmful to the human body, because when the vibration frequency of an external object resonates with the vibration frequency of the body, it can damage internal organs and even the nervous system. Yet clearly the sounds of plants growing and flowers opening are infrasound β and rather than harming health, they benefit it.
This is a very subtle phenomenon. Some infrasound is harmful or even fatal to health; other infrasound is very beneficial. I also noticed that the infrasound at 1 Hz is actually in resonance with the beating of the human heart β yet it causes absolutely no harm to health. This is something I find difficult to explain; perhaps relevant scientists can provide the explanation.
Here the core mystery emerges: the frequency of the Greatest Creator's Ling is precisely 1 Hz. Only a wave at this frequency can permeate all space and time of the universe. The optimal beating frequency of the human heart is also 1 Hz β sixty beats per minute. This should produce resonance β but that resonance does not damage the human body. This is a mystery I have not been able to unravel.
The ticking of a bedroom clock offers some insight: the clock's frequency matches the heart's frequency without causing any harmful resonance β so the frequency of the Greatest Creator's Ling will not harm the body by resonating with the human heart's frequency.
Now let us analyze which frequencies benefit human LIFE and which are harmful.
Scientists have found that for plants, frequencies of 6,000 Hz are most conducive to growth; frequencies of 7,000 to 9,000 Hz reduce plant growth; and frequencies above 10,000 Hz cause plants to die completely.
Experiments show that the most unbearable sounds for human beings are in the 2,000β4,000 Hz range. Rather than judging by frequency, let us judge by subjective experience: dragging a shovel across a concrete floor makes a truly unpleasant sound. Sudden screams, car horns, quarreling, clamor, crying, complaints, laments, screaming, painful moaning, desperate cries β all these are unpleasant.
We can roughly draw a clear picture: any sound that makes people feel happy, excited, joyful, peaceful, quiet, relaxed, comfortable, free, and blessed is a frequency beneficial to body-mind health; any sound that makes people feel bad, distressed, anxious, fearful, depressed, melancholic, agitated, or suffering is a frequency harmful to body-mind health.
The conclusion: the frequency of Ling is 1 Hz. The wave of Ling permeates all space and time of the universe, which gives rise to "all things carry Ling." The Ling of all living beings and all objects derives from the Ling of the Greatest Creator. Once this Ling disappears, LIFE dies instantly. The magnitude of spiritual power is related to the sounds a living being hears: hearing more joyful sounds strengthens spiritual power; hearing more disturbing sounds weakens it.
Ling is the source of LIFE. Human beings carry no Ling of their own; their Ling comes from the Greatest Creator. The degree of Ling's activity depends on the person's consciousness: when consciousness is pure and ordered, the person is Ling-ful β spiritually alive, perceptive, graceful, agile, and deft; when consciousness is chaotic and disordered, the person becomes dull, sluggish, unresponsive, clumsy, and bereft of insight.
All LIFE's Ling comes from the Greatest Creator. So what is the "evil spirit" really? (This question will be explored in a separate piece.)
Final conclusion: Ling is the source of all things; Ling is the source of LIFE; the frequency of Ling is 1 Hz.

IV. Ling and Soul: Two Concepts That Together Constitute LIFE¶
Ling and soul (ι, hΓΊn) are two distinct concepts. Ling comes from the Greatest Creator; the soul is the LIFE form's own consciousness embedded in its structure. Only when the two combine is LIFE complete.

From now on, Lifechanyuan will no longer dwell at length on the topic of the soul. We place the soul question within the framework of "consciousness, structure, and energy." Ling resides in consciousness; the soul resides in structure; both are antimatter. Therefore LIFE is a kind of antimatter structure endowed with spirituality. Whether a LIFE form is visible to the naked eye depends on its energy: the greater a LIFE form's energy, the more formless it is and the less visible it is to the naked eye; the smaller the energy, the more it presents in a form visible to the naked eye. VI. The Activity Level of Ling: Determined by the Empty or Full State of the Heart¶
The strength of Ling does not reflect the Greatest Creator's partiality toward anyone. It is the empty or full state of a LIFE form's own heart that determines how much of the Greatest Creator's Ling it can receive. The emptier the heart, the stronger the Ling; the fuller the heart, the weaker the Ling.

VII. Spiritual Sensing: The Sixth Awareness, the Spirit-Body's Capacity to Perceive the Antimatter World¶
Human beings have six forms of awareness; the sixth is Spiritual Sensing. Spiritual Sensing is the most important awareness that humanity has overlooked. The keenness of one's Spiritual Sensing determines the health and the survival of one's spirit-body LIFE.

When your back is intensely itchy you must scratch hard β light scratching produces no sensation. When your head aches badly you need vigorous massage β light touch has no effect. When hands and feet are numb with cold and placed in hot water, there is no sensation of heat. A necrotic wound area feels nothing, even when pierced with a needle. When the lower limbs are paralyzed or there is hemiplegia, half the body has lost sensation. A person in a vegetative state has sensation reduced to the lowest possible point.
The more insensitive a region is, the more slowly it responds to external changes. The more sensitive a region, the faster its response.
The physical body reflects changes in the material world; the spirit-body reflects changes in the antimatter world.
The physical body responds to changes in external information through vision, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. The spirit-body responds to changes in antimatter-domain information through Spiritual Sensing.
Everyone knows about the physical body's sensitivity to external information. What about the spirit-body? Many people have ignored it.
If I say that different people have different levels of vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, most people can understand and accept that.
If I say that the acuity of a person's five senses varies across different stages of their life, presumably no one would disagree.
But if I say that different people have different levels of Spiritual Sensing, and that Spiritual Sensing acuity varies across different stages of one's life, most people would probably scoff.
Spiritual Sensing is a critically important form of awareness that humanity has overlooked.
The acuity of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch is related to the health and survival of a person's physical LIFE. The acuity of Spiritual Sensing is connected to the health and survival of a person's spirit-body LIFE.
A necrotic area of the physical body has no sensation. A necrotic area of the spirit-body likewise has no sensation.
Spiritual Sensing is not mysterious.
For example, a person with keen Spiritual Sensing is very sensitive to any new policy issued by a government and will promptly adjust their thinking and direction. A person with dull Spiritual Sensing, even after the new policy has been explained to them, will barely react β they must wait until it becomes a fait accompli before they respond.
A person with keen Spiritual Sensing can detect the future direction of events from the slightest clues. A person with dull Spiritual Sensing must wait until the mountain collapses before they snap out of their stupor.
The foundation of Spiritual Sensing is spirituality. Spirituality is about heart-to-heart understanding β "a single spark of insight connects two hearts." We say: "Some horses and dogs have high spirituality because they can intuit the intentions of human beings and respond promptly." We say: "Some pigs and cattle have low spirituality because they cannot intuit human intentions β you have to whip them before they respond."
The main cause of dull Spiritual Sensing is scattered, unfocused attention. A convex lens can focus solar heat onto a piece of paper and set it on fire, but only if the lens is directed to a point; without focus it cannot ignite the paper.
Spiritual Sensing can be raised through cultivation. An American oil exploration company once drilled more than a dozen wells in a certain area and found nothing. Decades later, another company drilled in the same area and found oil. Why? The first company had not drilled deep enough; the second went deeper.
Similarly, whether a diver finds underwater treasure depends on the depth of the dive.
The facts tell us: whether we can see through phenomena to the deep essence of things depends on the depth of our cultivation.
The key to cultivation is refining the heart. A pure and crystalline heart draws in Ling. A heart in tune with Ling means high Spiritual Sensing.
