Sympathetic Resonance — Internal Version¶

Overview¶

In the Lifechanyuan system, "sympathetic resonance" (tong pin gong zhen) is simultaneously a law of physics, a law of cultivation, and a law of LIFE. Everything in the universe has a vibrational frequency; things of the same frequency resonate and amplify each other's energy, while things of incompatible frequencies suppress and drain each other. Consciousness and the heart-mind also have frequencies, determined by the antimatter structure of LIFE. Liking a person is because of resonance; heaven is beautiful because everything there resonates; hell is terrible because everything there is full of conflict. Those who resonate with your heart-mind are your true kin. Lifechanyuan is the paradise of resonant souls. Resonating with the Way of the Greatest Creator is the path to the Thousand-Year World and the Elysium World.

I. Definition and Physical Principle¶

The number of times matter completes a periodic change in one second is called frequency. When frequencies are the same or close, this is called "same-frequency" (tong pin).

Moving back and forth around a central point, or alternating up and down around a baseline, is called vibration or oscillation.

Vibration produces frequency. The universe is in motion; all matter is in motion. Wherever there is motion, there is vibration; wherever there is vibration, there is vibrational frequency. Therefore all matter has its own inherent vibrational frequency. When the frequency of an external input signal matches or approaches the inherent vibrational frequency of an object, the amplitude of vibration increases — this phenomenon is called resonance.

When two or more objects with the same vibrational frequency resonate — when one vibrates, the other object or objects vibrate along with it — this is called sympathetic resonance.

Objects of different frequencies find it very difficult to resonate. The easier an object resonates, the greater its vitality. The universe is the crystallization of mutual resonance between things — the less one resonates, the closer one is to death; the more one can resonate with all things, the closer one is to the Greatest Creator.

Resonance is an effective way of obtaining energy. True energy comes from sympathetic resonance with other things. The wider the scope of resonance, the more energy one absorbs; the narrower the scope, the fewer opportunities to obtain energy.

However, sympathetic resonance must have a limit — exceeding it causes disaster. A troop of soldiers marching in step across a bridge can cause the bridge to collapse.

To produce sympathetic resonance, an object must have elasticity; objects lacking elasticity cannot easily resonate with others.

Consciousness is a form of antimatter; thinking produces vibrational waves; the heart-mind also has frequency. Therefore the phenomenon of sympathetic resonance applies not only to the material world but equally to the antimatter world.

Same-frequency (tong pin), simply put, means that two or more things vibrate at the same frequency.

Resonance (gong zhen) means two or more same-frequency things vibrating together harmoniously with the same amplitude. The result of resonance is an elevation and increase of energy — sympathetic resonance has inconceivable effects.

For people, when two people or a group experience sympathetic resonance, what they feel is comfort, joy, and happiness — even bliss — because energy has been increased and elevated.

II. The Unity of Heaven and Humanity through Resonance¶

Wherever there is motion, there is vibration; wherever there is vibration, there is frequency; wherever there is frequency, there are rhythms and laws. Things of the same frequency can resonate with each other, complement each other, strengthen and develop together. Things of different frequencies can suppress, cancel, and destroy each other. The softer something is, the easier it can tune its frequency and resonate; the harder something is, the more easily it becomes rigid and resistant to resonance. Mountains and stones are easily destroyed, while water and air are nearly indestructible.

The more capable a living being is of adapting to change, the easier it is for it to survive. Organisms that cling rigidly to their own rhythms without adapting easily collapse and perish — this is true for bacteria, plants, animals, and human beings alike.

The unity of heaven and humanity is not only about heaven-human correspondence, heaven-human unity of body, and heaven-human holography — it also means that people must adapt to the changes of heaven, not always hoping heaven will follow human wishes, but rather considering how humans can follow heaven's wishes. One must resonate with the changes of the Heavenly Way. When heaven wants rain, crying is useless; when heaven wants snow, shouting is pointless — one must change with heaven's changes.

III. Sympathetic Resonance Between People¶

Each person's consciousness and heart-mind frequency is determined by the antimatter structure of their LIFE. Whatever antimatter LIFE structure one has, that is what vibrational frequency one's consciousness and heart-mind will have. This is why "birds of a feather flock together" — people of the same frequency naturally gather; people of different frequencies find it difficult to get along.

Beautiful music causes the body's cells and tissues to resonate harmoniously, directly influencing people's brain waves, heart rate, and breathing rhythm, generating comfort and joy. It can improve the function of the nervous, cardiovascular, endocrine, and digestive systems, stimulate the body to secrete beneficial active substances, increase cortical excitement, invigorate the spirit, and bring comfort and uplift to the heart-mind.

Everything that makes people feel joyful, free, and happy — whether pictures, words, sounds, people, sculptures, or theories, doctrines, teachings, and regulations — is the result of our consciousness and heart-mind resonating with them. Everything that makes people feel uncomfortable is caused by our consciousness and heart-mind being unable to resonate with it.

The more elastic something is, the more easily it resonates with other things — this is why we need to cultivate the qualities of humility, tenderness, compassion, and goodness. People with the biggest tempers, the most stubbornness, and the greatest rigidity have the least elasticity, and the least possibility of resonating with others. That is why they repel people.

When people's beliefs, outlook on life, values, view of LIFE, view of the cosmos, interests, and habits are in alignment, sympathetic resonance occurs — joy and happiness arise, energy increases, vitality appears, confidence strengthens, and life feels beautiful. When there is no resonance, one feels uncomfortable, discouraged, dispirited, and despairing, because energy has been invisibly drained.

Why do you like that person? Because their frequency matches or is close to yours.

Why is heaven so beautiful? Because everything in heaven resonates everywhere.

Why is hell so terrible? Because everything in hell is filled with conflict and contradiction.

IV. Those Who Resonate with Your Heart-Mind Are Your True Kin¶

Who are our kin? Jesus Christ tells us: "Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, sister, and mother." — Matthew 12:50

Those who meet the following eight conditions are our kin:

Those who revere the Greatest Creator and walk the Way of the Greatest Creator;
Those who revere LIFE, revere nature, love life, and love peace;
Those who share good fortune and bear hardship together, who care for us and never oppress, exploit, or bully us;
Those who speak gently and never harshly scold, complain, mock, insult, or strike us;
Those who can forgive our mistakes and always face us with a smile;
Those who never contend, quarrel, squabble, or grab from us — who always yield good things to us;
Those who bring us joy, happiness, freedom, and bliss;
Those who can be intimate with us without ever hurting us.

In short: those whose heart-minds resonate with ours are our kin.

Kin means those who share intimate warmth, who always give us care and tenderness. With kin there is no suffering or vexation, no loneliness or isolation, no quarreling or conflict, no worry or fear. No matter what circumstances one is in, as long as one is with kin, life is beautiful, living is joyful, and the future is happy.

The traditional definition of kin based on blood relationships needs to be redefined. We need to establish a new kinship system — to let everyone have many kin on life's journey, and to make life more and more beautiful.

V. Lifechanyuan Is the Paradise of Resonant Souls¶

Lifechanyuan is the paradise of heart-mind sympathetic resonance — a home of harmony, auspiciousness, freedom, and happiness; a Garden of Eden for those who uphold Lifechanyuan's concepts; an academy for elevating LIFE quality and cultivating divine abilities; and a transit station for breaking free from worldly bonds and journeying toward the Thousand-Year World, Ten-Thousand-Year World, Elysium World, and Celestial Islands Continent.

Lifechanyuan has always called upon everyone to resonate with the Way of the Greatest Creator, with the purpose of reaching the Thousand-Year World, or Ten-Thousand-Year World, or Elysium World and Celestial Islands Continent — to trek and ascend to the highest realms of human and LIFE experience. At the same time, sympathetic resonance absorbs energy and allows our lives to be joyful, free, and happy. Without resonance one only drains energy and cannot reach these goals.

"The wise seek what is the same; the foolish seek what is different." Wise people go where they can find sympathetic resonance; foolish people specialize in nit-picking and searching for differences. We are wise — we specifically seek out people, places, and concepts with which we can resonate.

Only through sympathetic resonance can we gather energy, fully embody the value of life, and reach the ideal other shore.

VI. How to Get Along Harmoniously with Those on Different Frequencies¶

For those on different frequencies from you: no need to actively seek contact, no need to deliberately cater to them. If they come, that is karmic affinity — resolve it in the moment; if they don't come, all the better. In daily life and work, face them with a smile and meet them with equanimity. Do not show a look of disdain or superiority; do not try to correct their values using your own.

Regard everyone who comes to your side — regardless of whether they are muddled, worldly, ordinary, or sage — as karmic affinity to be dissolved. Once dissolved, they won't linger around you; if not dissolved, they will continue to appear at your side. The method of dissolving: greet with a smile, treat with equanimity. No matter how unreasonable or perverse others' words and actions, don't be bothered, don't provoke, don't try to correct — instead, follow the flow and "harmonize your light, unite with the dust" (from Tao Te Ching ch. 56), dissolving the waves in understanding and sympathy.

Quarreling, contending, grabbing, killing — none of these are good. Debating, refuting, disputing — none of these are auspicious. Life is short; there is no time to contend and debate. With those who can resonate, resonate; with those who cannot, step aside. "Fragrant grass grows at the ends of the earth everywhere" — why spend the effort to argue?
