Abstract¶
In the Lifechanyuan system, the "inner Spirit" (心灵, xīn líng) is the union of Heart (心, xīn) and Spirit-Force (灵, líng), situated within the realm of consciousness — as distinct from the Spirit (精神, jīng shén), which belongs to the realm of energy. The Heart is a mirror that reflects all phenomena; its capacity is determined by the magnitude of the Spirit-Force dwelling within it. The Spirit-Force is the consciousness of the Greatest Creator and the source of LIFE. The most precise definition of the inner Spirit is: "a state of clarity and joy experienced when a person's consciousness resonates in unison with the consciousness of the Greatest Creator." Inner-Spirit wealth ranks first among the three forms of wealth; the Soul Garden is the foundation that determines one's LIFE trajectory; purifying the inner Spirit is humanity's most urgent task. Telepathy and resonance in unison constitute the operating mechanism of the inner Spirit; the inner-Spirit world is the highest-tier realm inhabited by celestials, Buddhas, and angels; no attachment in Heart and illuminating one's true nature (明心见性) represent the ultimate destination of the inner Spirit.

III. Inner-Spirit Wealth: The First of the Three Treasures¶
Priority order (T9 · Concept 27): Inner-Spirit Wealth → Spiritual Wealth → Material Wealth
"Inner-Spirit wealth is the primary wealth. Without inner-Spirit wealth, a person is like a tree without roots, water without a source — a wandering ghost, a walking corpse." (T10)
Criteria for measuring inner-Spirit wealth (T1): Knowing and recognizing the Greatest Creator, revering the Greatest Creator, understanding the meaning of the Tao, possessing virtue, faith, and conviction, loving nature and LIFE, embodying Truth, Goodness, Beauty, Love, Faith, and Sincerity — those who meet these criteria have a rich inner-Spirit world; those who do not, a barren one.
The simplest measurable indicator (T11 · Concept 776):
"A person who can bring joy to others is a person rich in inner Spirit."
IV. The Soul Garden: Consciousness as Garden, Actively Constructible¶
Conceptual basis (T12):
"A person's behavior is determined by their consciousness; consciousness is the Soul Garden; the contents of one's consciousness determine whether the Soul Garden is beautiful or ugly."
