Space-Time (Academic Version)¶
Abstract¶
Lifechanyuan's concept of "Space-Time" centers on the core proposition that time is antimatter, and defines the universe's structure as 36 dimensions of space — organized as 20 parallel worlds arrayed through a positive-negative coordinate system. Space-time is not merely a physical backdrop; it is a positioning system for LIFE's evolutionary level. Practitioners who learn to enter horizontal space-time through consciousness can progressively transcend the limitations of three-dimensional earthly existence, ultimately reaching the Celestial Islands Continent — the domain of the Greatest Creator. This system weaves together Eastern cosmological motifs (three realms, reincarnation) with modern physics imagery (dimensions, parallel universes, tunnels), forming a self-consistent cultivation-oriented theory of space-time.

I. The Ontology of Time: From Physical Quantity to Antimatter¶
The cornerstone of Lifechanyuan's philosophy of time is the proposition: "Time is antimatter" (T3). This diverges fundamentally from modern physics' treatment of time as a scalar dimension (Minkowski space-time).
Within Lifechanyuan's framework: - Time arises from motion — without motion there is no time (T1, Concept 427) - Time pervades all material space, yet is itself antimatter — imperceptible to the physical senses and accessible only through spiritual sensing (T1, Concept 428) - Time possesses positive and negative polarity: positive time corresponds to forward motion; negative time corresponds to reversal or stasis
This stance elevates time from an objective measuring tool to a subject of spiritual intuition, structurally resonating with the Buddhist notion of momentary arising-and-ceasing (ksana) and the Daoist conception of effortless non-doing (wu wei).
II. The Eight Characteristics of Time: A Systematic Taxonomy¶
New Era Human 800 Concepts, Concept 428, presents eight characteristics of time, forming the classificatory backbone of Lifechanyuan's philosophy of time:
| Characteristic | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ① Time is antimatter | Ontological definition |
| ② Time has positive and negative polarity | Directionality, corresponding to the universe's positive-negative structure |
| ③ Particularity and universality | Time manifests differently in different spaces yet pervades all spaces |
| ④ Time is a variable | Non-fixed; can be compressed or expanded |
| ⑤ Pervades all material space | Universal coverage; though time's form differs in higher spaces |
| ⑥ Vertical and horizontal dimensions | Time-as-flow (vertical) vs. time-as-transcendence (horizontal) |
| ⑦ Different meanings in different spaces | One year in the human world may be an instant in the Elysium World |
| ⑧ Can be compressed, expanded, or made to disappear | The fluid structure of time |
Comparison with Relativity: General relativity acknowledges that time dilates under velocity and gravity — a phenomenon that shares surface resonance with Lifechanyuan's "time is a variable" (characteristic ④). However, Lifechanyuan attributes this cause to antimatter structure rather than space-time curvature.
III. Vertical vs. Horizontal Time: The Central Distinction for Cultivation¶
Among Lifechanyuan's most distinctive contributions is the vertical/horizontal time dichotomy:
- Vertical time: The flow from past → present → future — the historical time experienced by ordinary people
- Horizontal time: The dimension one "turns into" at any given point on the vertical axis — within horizontal space-time, time ceases to flow
The practical significance of entering horizontal space-time through consciousness:
"For the entire physical body to enter horizontal time, the right conditions must arise… I will now give you a method through which you can enter horizontal space-time at any time — the Consciousness Entry Method… A person is their consciousness; consciousness is the person… Once your consciousness enters, in reality you yourself have entered." (T4)
A few seconds in horizontal space-time may equal decades or thousands of earthly years (T4). This closely parallels Buddhist scriptural accounts ("one day in heaven equals years among humans") and rhymes with quantum physics' exploration of time discontinuity.
IV. Space Theory: 36 Dimensions and 20 Parallel Worlds¶
Lifechanyuan's spatial system builds on positive-negative symmetry to establish a comprehensive multi-dimensional cosmological model.
Definition of space (T1, Concept 421):
Space is the location and range of activity of matter and antimatter. Positive space is determined by matter; negative space is determined by antimatter.
The 20 Parallel Worlds arise from the intersection of positive/negative time axes with positive/negative spatial axes (x, y, z), yielding 20 quadrants, each supporting a distinct form of LIFE (T6).
The 36 Dimensions constitute Lifechanyuan's complete dimensional atlas, spanning from the lowest layers (Fire-Refining Layer, Frozen Layer) to the highest (Cool Realm, Celestial Islands Continent).
The pivotal role of the Cool Realm: The Cool Realm is the zero point of the coordinate system; all 20 parallel worlds connect to this zero point, and the Greatest Creator exists simultaneously in all of them — a theological dimension that unifies the entire cosmological structure (T7).
V. Space-Time Tunnels: Passages Between Dimensions¶
| Tunnel Type | Direction | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Time Tunnel | Vertical | Access past and future |
| Space Tunnel | Horizontal | Access other dimensions among the 36 |
The time tunnel is a dense network of channels formed by positive and negative time (Concept 429); the space tunnel connects the 36 dimensions (Concept 425). Their directional distinction provides the navigational infrastructure of Lifechanyuan's space-time theory.
VI. Cultivation Space-Time Theory: The Path Beyond Three Dimensions¶
The ultimate orientation of Lifechanyuan's space-time theory is enabling practitioners to transcend the limitations of earthly space-time and enter higher LIFE spaces. The four pathways are:
- Walking the Way of the Greatest Creator — allowing consciousness to range freely across 36 dimensions (Concept 538)
- Perfecting the antimatter structure of the spirit body — the foundational work for escaping time's constraints (Concept 435)
- The Consciousness Entry Method — a practical cultivation technique that uses the entry points of horizontal space-time (T4)
- Entering the Second Home — completing the dimensional ascent through communal cultivation (Concept 632)
The dialectic of "existence determines consciousness" and "consciousness determines existence" (Concept 309): The former describes the cognitive limitation of human three-dimensional existence; the latter describes the capacity of cultivators — through elevated consciousness — to access all 36 dimensions.
VII. Comparative Framework¶
