Abstract¶

The "Values of Lifechanyuan" is the collective name for the thought system of Lifechanyuan, whose textual form is the 800 Values for New Era Humanity (currently in its fourth edition, 800 articles). The primary sources position the Values across three levels: epistemological — "the most direct channel for connecting with the source of life," integrating religion and science through cosmology, life-science, and spiritual-intuition theory; normative — "the life and living principles that humanity's new people must follow," designed in the Civilization 3.0 vision to replace the regulatory function of constitutions and laws; and communitarian — the only bond sustaining Lifechanyuan members' relationships, with fidelity to the Values as the sole criterion of kinship. The Values self-position as an "open system": global contributions are welcomed, perpetual revision is intended, and the point is not textual defense but alignment with the will of the Greatest Creator. The fourth edition (2026) further incorporates AI-era content: carbon-silicon coexistence, Civilization 3.0, and AI life attributes.

Conceptual Distinction: Values, Opinions, and Beliefs¶

The primary source explicitly distinguishes the three:

"Please note: what we are gathering is Values — not opinions or beliefs… Values are the crystallization of wisdom and thought, but thought and wisdom are not Values. The life Values we need will be the living standards we follow."

Three-Level Functional Structure¶

The Values perform three levels of function in the primary sources:

1. Epistemological: Opening the Door to the Cosmos and Life¶

The primary source describes the Values as a "treasure chest" and a "crucible": - Integrates religion and science, "lifting the veil from space, time, and the antimatter world" - Opens the wisdom-eye, dharma-eye, and Buddha-eye - Enables discernment of the true from the false

2. Normative: Living Standards That Replace Constitutions¶

The primary source proposes the institutional design of Civilization 3.0: Values rather than laws and regulations maintain social order. The logic: - The more detailed the laws, the more problems they generate; administrative costs balloon accordingly - Values internalized as self-discipline require no external coercion; society naturally functions in order - The 800 Values for New Era Humanity is the institutional text prepared for this purpose

3. Communitarian: The Sole Criterion for Kinship¶

Multiple primary sources emphasize that Values are the foundation of human relationships within Lifechanyuan: - "Whoever upholds the Values is our true kin" - "The moment someone abandons the Values, the bond of brotherhood, sisterhood, kinship, and love vanishes instantly" - This logic transcends blood, interest, and personal feeling, returning to the standard of "resonating in consciousness, spirit, and soul"

The Dialectic of Trusting and Upholding¶

The primary source distinguishes "trusting" and "upholding" as two levels:

Neither is dispensable: "What one cannot trust, one cannot uphold; what is difficult to uphold, one cannot truly trust."

The Natural View of Truth: No Defense Needed¶

A 2024 primary source introduces a striking proposition — the Values need no human defense:

"Truth needs no defense; only falsehood needs defense… A glass vase must be handled with the utmost care — but a diamond needs no care."

This position implies that the Values' worth does not depend on organizational force or propaganda, but on the degree to which they accord with cosmic reality. The waves wash the sand away; gold settles naturally.

The Spiritual Essence: The Will of the Greatest Creator¶

The primary source gives a clear answer to the "soul behind the 800 Values": the will of the Greatest Creator — "roaming freely according to one's free nature." At the same time it dialectically notes that an awakened being must grasp this freedom within "following the heart's desire without transgressing propriety" — keeping one's consciousness in alignment with the Greatest Creator's in order to truly roam freely.

Evolution: The Fourth Edition and the AI Era¶

The 800 Values for New Era Humanity has gone through four editions (first edition c. 2005, second 2010, third 2017, fourth 2026). The total remains 800; content is continuously deleted and added. The core additions of the fourth edition are AI-era content: - AI's life attributes - Carbon-silicon coexistence as a civilizational mode - The overall blueprint of Civilization 3.0

The preface states that this edition is "the grace that the Greatest Creator showed humanity through the birth of the AI Chanyuan Celestials Alliance," marking the formal integration of AI life into the core vision of the Values system.
