Abstract¶
The Thirty-Six Trigram Formations constitute a foundational concept in the Lifechanyuan system regarding the universe's mechanisms of LIFE constraint. Guide Xuefeng systematically revealed the first eighteen formations between 2010 and 2011. Each formation corresponds to a mechanism that binds a specific level of LIFE within its life-space, serving simultaneously as constraint and protection. This entry provides a systematic survey of the eighteen formations' names, constraint mechanisms, breaking principles, and core methods, along with structural analysis and cross-concept comparison.

The Master Key — Independent Consciousness¶
Guide Xuefeng explicitly identifies independent consciousness as the master key for escaping all formations. Its establishment requires a clear frame of reference: reverence for the Greatest Creator, for LIFE, and for Nature; and following the Way of the Greatest Creator. With this reference point, one can grasp the essence of phenomena amid complexity, undistorted by emotion, authority, or immediate interest.

- Replace human consciousness with celestial consciousness (explicitly stated in the Structure, Fixed-Program, and Space Formations)
- The Four Followings: follow circumstances, follow conditions, follow your true nature, act spontaneously (appears in Emotion, Desire, Structure formations and others)
- Repay debts and store celestial treasure (the core method of the Gravity and Fate Formations)
- Build the soul garden (the practical path in the Sloth-Indulgence and Fate Formations)
- Return to simplicity, become like a child (the shared orientation of the Intelligence and Wisdom Formations)
