True Fruition (Zhèngguǒ)¶
True Fruition (zhèngguǒ, 正果) is the ultimate destination of spiritual cultivation in Lifechanyuan — the state of supreme, perfect enlightenment in which a LIFE transcends the cycle of reincarnation and ascends to the Elysium World and the Celestial Islands Continent to enjoy boundless, eternal bliss.
It is the sole purpose for which anyone becomes a Chanyuan Celestial.
"True Fruition is supreme, perfect enlightenment — the most perfect destination. To achieve True Fruition by one's own effort means passing through trials of greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, and doubt, enduring calamity and hardship, ultimately illuminating the mind and seeing one's true nature, comprehending the mysteries of life and existence, attaining the fruition of a Buddha or a Celestial Being in the Elysium World and its Celestial Islands Continent — and from then on, never reincarnating again, no longer lost in confusion, enjoying the boundless and infinite delights of LIFE."

I. Three Levels of True Fruition¶
True Fruition unfolds in three ascending stages:
| Level | Hallmark |
|---|---|
| First level | Released from suffering, body and mind in clear stillness |
| Second level | Possessing nothing, yet possessing everything |
| Third level | Completely free, eternally blissful |
"When one has become a celestial being, a bodhisattva, an angel, a Buddha, a Heavenly Celestial — that is True Fruition."

II. Convergence Across Traditions¶
True Fruition is not the property of any single religion. The great wisdom traditions all point toward the same destination in different languages:
- Christian: "Neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels" (Matt. 22:30)
- Buddhist: "Mind abiding nowhere, mind with no hindrance — far from inverted illusions, ultimate Nirvana" (Heart Sutra / Diamond Sutra)
- Integrated standard: Not marrying + mind without abiding + released from suffering + possessing nothing + completely free and blissful
"Whether or not a person understands Christian, Buddhist, or Taoist teachings — whatever path they have practiced, whatever their level of learning — if they neither marry nor are given in marriage like angels, if their mind abides nowhere and has no hindrance, if they are released from suffering and their body and mind are in clear stillness, if they possess nothing yet possess everything, if they are completely free and eternally blissful — then they are a celestial being, a bodhisattva, an angel, a Buddha. They have achieved True Fruition."

III. Four Signs of Fruition Not Yet Achieved¶
Xuefeng formulated four diagnostic negations — self-observable tests for one's current state:
"When we are still governed by human consciousness, it proves we have not yet achieved True Fruition. When we have not yet reached the state of 'possessing nothing, yet possessing everything,' it proves we have not yet achieved True Fruition. When we have not yet experienced the wonder of 'self completely dissolved, heart wide open and joyful,' it proves we have not yet achieved True Fruition. When we still 'have heart-mind' but have not yet 'seen our true nature,' it proves we have not yet achieved True Fruition."

IV. The Path to True Fruition¶
The Eight No-Realms as gateway¶
"To achieve the state of celestials and Buddhas requires True Fruition. The method of achieving True Fruition is reaching the Eight No-Realms: No worldly bonds, No possessions, No self, No sorrow, No hindrance, No clinging, No negativity, No fear. If fellow students can reach the Eight No-Realms within ten years, I guarantee you will become celestial beings or Buddhas."
— Xuefeng's Collected Works · Friendship Section · Starting Anew
Cultivating Nature · Love · Dao¶
"What do we cultivate? We cultivate Nature, Love, and Dao. The three constituents of the universe are consciousness, structure, and energy. Nature is the characteristic of structure; Love is the characteristic of energy; Dao is the characteristic of consciousness. By cultivating Nature, Love, and Dao, we will ultimately achieve True Fruition and attain eternity."

The Five-Stage Path¶
- Know — Read the Chanyuan Corpus and Xuefeng's writings; understand the mysteries of life, LIFE, and space-time
- Act — Repay worldly debts, release worldly bonds, enter the Second Home
- Refine — Through every detail of building the Second Home, purify the mind; practice formless giving
- Ascend — Sever the gravitational pull binding LIFE to the human world; accumulate merit
- Arrive — Enter the Thousand-Year World, Ten-Thousand-Year World, or Elysium World and its Celestial Islands Continent
"To achieve True Fruition, one must strictly follow the Tour Guide Route Map. Without strictly following the Tour Guide Route Map, True Fruition is difficult to attain."
— Chanyuan Corpus · Cultivation Section
V. Eight Pursuits Relinquished¶
Upon setting out toward True Fruition, the following eight attachments are abandoned:
- No longer pursuing any other path — only walking the Way of the Greatest Creator
- No longer pursuing money, power, status, fame, or beauty — relinquishing self, reaching no-self and no-form
- No longer educating others or "saving beings" — focusing entirely on perfecting oneself
- No longer joining any organized activities — moving freely, merging with the Dao
- No longer displaying oneself — humbly practicing what Jesus and Shakyamuni taught
- No longer seeking grand achievements or rivalries — dwelling in contentment, gratitude, and humility
- No longer arguing, competing, or fighting with anyone — remaining flexible, yielding, smiling from the heart
- No longer thinking of oneself as great — becoming the most humble, ordinary life in the world
VI. Fruition Requires Lived Verification¶
"Achieving True Fruition requires real-life verification. No matter how much one understands in theory, without experiential verification it is all empty talk."
"A person who has never experienced the three levels of True Fruition during their lifetime has not achieved it. When they leave the human world, they decidedly cannot go to the Kingdom of Heaven. The state of consciousness at the moment of death determines the world one enters afterward — just like a fax."
— Guide's Articles · True Fruition Awaits in the Second Home
VII. The Second Home as Optimal Environment¶
"The hope of achieving True Fruition lies in the Second Home created by Lifechanyuan. Other paths to True Fruition are very difficult."
"Among all places in today's world — utopian communities, communist communes, monasteries, convents, Daoist temples, meditation centers — none is the ideal setting for achieving True Fruition. The best place is Lifechanyuan's Second Home."
— Guide's Articles · True Fruition Awaits in the Second Home
VIII. Persistence: Drop by Drop, Stone Is Pierced¶
"What is meant by 'dripping water pierces stone' is that only by relentlessly advancing in the direction of a single goal can one achieve True Fruition. What is meant by 'ninety-nine returns to the true' is that only by accumulating quantitative change until a critical threshold is crossed does one achieve True Fruition. To achieve True Fruition requires not just eight or ten years of enthusiasm and passion — it requires a lifetime of steadfastness."
— Xuefeng's Collected Works · Inspirational Section · Dripping Water Pierces Stone
"To obtain True Fruition, one's practice must be fully mature. Even the slightest shortfall means True Fruition remains out of reach."
