True Fruition β€” The Most Perfect Destination of LIFE

What is the whole point of spiritual cultivation in Lifechanyuan? It can be summed up in two words: True Fruition (zhèngguǒ).

True Fruition means becoming a celestial being, a bodhisattva, an angel, a Buddha β€” ascending to the Elysium World and the Celestial Islands Continent, never to reincarnate again, free and blissful forever. It is the sole reason for becoming a Chanyuan Celestial.

What Does It Actually Feel Like?

Xuefeng describes True Fruition as three ascending levels. You can locate yourself on this map:

Level One: Released from Suffering, Body and Mind in Clear Stillness Anxiety, fear, and pain no longer rule you. A genuine, stable peace. Many people touch this state occasionally, but haven't stabilized there yet.

Level Two: Possessing Nothing, Yet Possessing Everything All worldly attachments dissolve β€” and paradoxically, you feel you have everything. This reversal is real: non-attachment is the fullest form of abundance.

Level Three: Completely Free, Eternally Blissful LIFE is fully liberated. No more suffering, no more confusion, no more birth and death. This is the state of celestial beings, bodhisattvas, and angels.

How Do You Know You Haven't Arrived Yet?

Xuefeng gives four honest checkpoints:

  • You're still operating from human consciousness β†’ not yet
  • You haven't reached the state of "possessing nothing, yet possessing everything" β†’ not yet
  • You've never experienced "self completely dissolved, heart wide open and joyful" β†’ not yet
  • You still "have a heart-mind" but haven't "seen your true nature" β†’ not yet

These aren't criticisms. They're a map. Knowing where you are is the first step.

The Path

Step 1: Understand the big picture Read the Chanyuan Corpus and Xuefeng's writings β€” really understand the mysteries of the universe, LIFE, and space-time.

Step 2: Sever worldly bonds Repay old debts, release all worldly entanglements, and enter the Second Home. Without cutting these ties, the gravitational pull of the human world keeps dragging you back.

Step 3: Refine yourself in the Second Home Every detail of life in the Second Home is a course: growing vegetables, maintaining harmony with others, practicing formless giving, purifying the heart. Xuefeng says: "Sitting meditation is no better than growing flowers; reciting sutras is no better than beautifying a courtyard."

Step 4: Build merit, transform consciousness Gradually shift from human consciousness to celestial consciousness. Accumulate merit. Let the "gravity" binding you to the human world dissolve.

The Gateway: Eight No-Realms

Xuefeng makes a direct promise:

"The method for achieving True Fruition is reaching the Eight No-Realms: No worldly bonds, No possessions, No self, No sorrow, No hindrance, No clinging, No negativity, No fear. If you can reach this within ten years, I guarantee you will become a celestial being or a Buddha."

Eight dimensions of complete release. That is the doorway.

What You Cultivate: Nature Β· Love Β· Dao

The universe is made of three elements: consciousness, structure, and energy.

  • Nature (xΓ¬ng) is the characteristic of structure
  • Love is the characteristic of energy
  • Dao is the characteristic of consciousness

Cultivate these three, and you cultivate the very fabric of the universe β€” and ultimately achieve True Fruition.

A Critical Truth: You Must Experience It While Alive

This is important and often missed:

"The state of consciousness at the moment of death determines the world one enters afterward β€” just like a fax."

True Fruition is not a posthumous reward. You have to actually experience the three levels of fruition during this lifetime. If you've never tasted them while alive, you won't suddenly arrive in the Kingdom of Heaven after death. The transformation must happen now.

Drop by Drop, the Stone Is Pierced

Tang Sanzang (the monk in Journey to the West) endured eighty-one trials before reaching enlightenment. Your journey has a similar structure:

  • Quantitative change accumulates until a critical threshold is crossed β€” then a leap.
  • Only relentless, single-direction effort reaches the destination.
  • It takes not just years of enthusiasm β€” it takes a lifetime of steadfastness.

"To obtain True Fruition, one's practice must be fully mature. Even the slightest shortfall means True Fruition remains out of reach."
