Releasing Worldly Bonds¶

Releasing worldly bonds (liǎoquè chényuán) is one of the core methods in Lifechanyuan's path toward celestial being-hood: systematically dissolving every tie, debt, obligation, and attachment that binds LIFE to the material world, freeing it from the gravitational pull of the human realm so it can ascend to higher planes of existence.

Releasing worldly bonds is paired with debt repayment as the first of "the three things that must be done to go from human to celestial beings and Buddhas." Its counterpart is cultivating celestial bonds — actively building connections with those who have celestial roots, establishing a gravitational pull toward Heaven rather than the human world.
