Female Awakening

Female Awakening (Nüxing Juexing), in the Lifechanyuan system, refers to women's liberation from the dependent role defined by traditional marriage and family, a return to their innate nature and Buddha-nature, and the pursuit of a free, graceful, and spiritually elevated life. Guide Xuefeng teaches that one root cause of millennia of human suffering is that "women have not yet awakened" — marriage and family have smothered their celestial nature, and domestic labor has consumed the lives of countless talented women. Once awakened, a woman sheds all fetters, no longer depending on men or family, embracing softness as her life's maxim, following her nature freely and joyfully. Lifechanyuan also upholds the principle of Qiankun Diandao, Xiannü Wei Zun ("Heaven and Earth reversed — Celestial Women are supreme"), providing institutional respect for women's dignity and freedom.

Because women have not yet awakened, marriage and family have smothered their celestial nature and Buddha-nature, household chores have consumed countless gifted women… When women awaken from the sleep of marriage and family, human civilization will make a great leap forward.
