Becoming a Celestial Being¶
Becoming a Celestial Being is one of the central goals of the Lifechanyuan cultivation system. It refers to the process by which a human life elevates to the state of a celestial being (仙, xiān) — shedding samsaric existence and entering the Thousand-Year World, Ten-Thousand-Year World, or Elysium World of the non-material universe. As Guide Xuefeng wrote: "The effort of one's entire life should be placed on becoming a celestial being. Not to become one is to remain a prisoner."
