Spiritual Eye¶
The Spiritual Eye (灵眼, Língyǎn) is a core concept in the Lifechanyuan cultivation system — the inner faculty through which LIFE perceives and observes the antimatter world, as distinct from the physical eyes (肉眼) that perceive the material world.
Guide Xuefeng's formulation:
Physical eyes see the material world; the Spiritual Eye sees the antimatter world.
"If we cannot see the material world, it proves our physical eyes have a problem — blind, closed, or covered. If we cannot see the antimatter world, it shows our Spiritual Eye has a problem — blind, closed, or covered."
The Spiritual Eye is the perceptual organ of Spiritual Sensing (灵觉), the sixth sense. Humans have six perceptual systems: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, and Spiritual Sensing. The Spiritual Eye is the channel through which Spiritual Sensing "sees."
The Spiritual Eye is innate to all human beings — it requires no addition or creation. But it is obscured by the "dust" of greed, anger, arrogance, jealousy, and attachment. The more sensitive one's Spiritual Sensing, the closer one approaches celestial being; the duller it is, the closer one slides toward a muddled, unawakened existence.
Opening the Spiritual Eye is one of the primary paths in cultivation toward higher LIFE spaces.
