Spiritual Eye (Friendly Version)¶
We have more than one pair of eyes¶
Everyone knows we see the world through our eyes. But did you know — human beings actually have two pairs of eyes?
- Physical eyes: see the material world — mountains and rivers, sun and stars, the human drama
- Spiritual Eye: sees the antimatter world — the Greatest Creator, souls, the Kingdom of Heaven, higher LIFE spaces
Xuefeng says:
"If we cannot see the material world, it proves our physical eyes have a problem — blind, closed, or covered. If we cannot see the antimatter world, it shows our Spiritual Eye has a problem — blind, closed, or covered."
The material world is only part of the universe — and not the decisive part. What truly determines the direction of a LIFE is the invisible antimatter world: karma, the soul, higher-dimensional spaces, the Greatest Creator's will — all exist there. A person whose Spiritual Eye remains closed can only spin in the "shadow" of the material world, never seeing the true nature of things or the way out of suffering.
Everyone has a Spiritual Eye¶
The Spiritual Eye is not the privilege of a select few. Xuefeng is clear:
"Everyone has a Spiritual Eye — this is a built-in feature of human beings. All people have Spiritual Sensing; the only difference is sensitivity."
The Spiritual Eye is a person's natural, built-in equipment — like eyes and ears — it doesn't need to be created, only opened.
The Spiritual Eye is the perceptual channel of Spiritual Sensing (灵觉), the sixth sense. Humans have six perceptual systems: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch — and Spiritual Sensing. The Spiritual Eye is how Spiritual Sensing "looks."
So why do most people feel no connection to the antimatter world, the Greatest Creator, or the spirit realm?
Because their Spiritual Eye is covered over.
What covers the Spiritual Eye?¶
Xuefeng identifies two main categories of "dust" that block the Spiritual Eye:
Category One: The Five Poisons
The Buddha's Five Poisons — greed, anger, delusion, arrogance, doubt: - Greed — endless craving for more - Anger — emotional reactivity and resentment - Delusion — clinging that cannot let go - Arrogance — disdain that blocks true reception - Doubt — distrust that cuts off spiritual sensing
Category Two: Jealousy
Xuefeng added jealousy as a sixth poison:
"Jealousy will cover the Spiritual Eye and distort the true nature of things and events, leading people down the wrong path and into evil."
Additionally, impurity of the Six Roots makes the Spiritual Eye hard to open. The Six Roots are eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. When the mind has gone astray — "not looking at what should be seen, looking at what shouldn't; not hearing what should be heard, hearing what shouldn't" — the Spiritual Eye cannot perceive truly.
The more sensitive, the closer to celestial¶
Xuefeng described the relationship between Spiritual Sensing sensitivity and LIFE level:
"The difference between a muddled person, an ordinary person, a common person, a wise person, and a celestial being lies mainly in the degree of Spiritual Sensing. The duller the Spiritual Sensing, the closer one drifts toward a muddled existence; the more sensitive the Spiritual Sensing, the closer one moves toward celestial being."
| LIFE Level | Spiritual Eye State |
|---|---|
| Muddled person | Tightly closed — driven entirely by instinct and desire |
| Ordinary person | Occasional glimmer — mostly covered by worldly clinging |
| Common person | Partially open — beginning to sense truth and discern good from evil |
| Wise person | Opening clearly — perceiving heavenly principles |
| Celestial being | Fully open — directly perceiving the antimatter world, united with the Tao |
How to open the Spiritual Eye¶
Xuefeng offers clear methods:
Method One: Purify the Mind
The fundamental reason the Spiritual Eye stays closed is too many "weeds" in the Soul Garden. Clearing away greed, jealousy, arrogance, anger, and other negative states is clearing the dust that covers the Spiritual Eye.
"Spiritual Sensing itself is like a mirror — nothing needs to be added. Just 'constantly polish it; do not let dust accumulate.'"
Method Two: Study the teachings of sages
"The teachings of Jesus and the Buddha are the treasure key for opening the Spiritual Eye. The Greatest Creator writings, the Revelation writings, the Wisdom writings, the Abnormal Thinking writings — these are the stepping stones to opening the Spiritual Eye."
The teachings of celestial sages are themselves the fruit of open Spiritual Eyes — reading and internalizing them activates one's own Spiritual Sensing.
Method Three: Right seeing, right hearing, right thinking
The Buddha's instruction — "right seeing, right hearing, right thinking" — is a call for purifying the Six Roots. When perception is upright, the Spiritual Eye finds a clear channel to flow through.
What can an open Spiritual Eye see?¶
When the Spiritual Eye opens, the world changes entirely:
- The existence of the Greatest Creator — not an abstract belief but a direct, felt perception
- Karma and reincarnation — understanding the deep patterns behind life's experiences
- The truth of things — discerning right from wrong, not deceived by appearances
- The direction of the Kingdom of Heaven — knowing where to go and how to walk there
- The arc of history — transcending space and time to perceive the trajectory of humanity
When Spiritual Sensing opens, LIFE is no longer lost. The path becomes clear, each step steady, the Way of the Greatest Creator shining underfoot.
