Abstract¶
Super Celestial Beings of the Elysium World (tiān xiān 天仙) represent the apex of the Lifechanyuan five-tier celestial hierarchy — the highest state attainable through human cultivation. Their home, the Celestial Islands Continent, is a galaxy of approximately 80 billion Earth-sized islands within the Elysium World, spanning some 300,000 light-years in diameter. About 30 billion islands are currently inhabited; the remaining 50 billion await new arrivals from the human world, the Thousand-Year World, and the Ten-Thousand-Year World. Super Celestial Beings are defined as "the most free, the most joyful, and the most blessed beings in the entire universe" — created directly by the Greatest Creator, bearing no responsibilities, possessing 64 supernatural abilities, and existing for the sole purpose of self-generated delight. Unlike Buddhas, whose supernatural powers serve duty and obligation, a Super Celestial Being's powers are instruments of play. Becoming a Super Celestial Being marks the ultimate limit of human LIFE evolution, while Buddhas can continue ascending further. The central cultivation requirement is self-coherence (自洽 zìqià): forming a complete, self-sufficient inner system independent of all external conditions. The Lifechanyuan system arranges celestial beings into five tiers, mapping a LIFE-evolution trajectory from human existence upward:

Super Celestial Beings correspond to the third step of the "three-step celestial path" (no-mind; all is nature; 64 supernatural abilities) and the third realm of the "three celestial realms" (free of birth, old age, sickness, and death; supreme freedom; having reached the limit of LIFE).
Relationship with Buddhas¶
The celestial–Buddha relationship is non-hierarchical but distinct:
- Super Celestial Beings are Buddhas: all Super Celestial Beings have attained Buddhahood
- Buddhas are not necessarily Super Celestial Beings: Super Celestial Beings are a "special subset within the Buddha realm"
- Key divergence: a Super Celestial Being's powers serve play; a Buddha's powers serve responsibility and obligation
- Path divergence: becoming a Super Celestial Being requires "no prohibitions whatsoever"; becoming a Buddha requires "strict precautions"
- Terminal vs. open-ended: attaining Super Celestial Being status is the ultimate limit for humans; a Buddha's path continues upward without defined ceiling
III. Essential Characteristics¶
Core definition: "Super Celestial Beings are the most free, the most joyful, and the most blessed beings in the entire universe — the beloved of the Greatest Creator, bearing no responsibilities and fulfilling no obligations." (Value 484)
Origin: Super Celestial Beings and deities (shén 神) are created directly by the Greatest Creator — the only LIFE forms to receive this distinction. All other LIFE forms were designed by the Greatest Creator but brought into being by deities and Super Celestial Beings acting together (Value 368).
Existential nature: The Elysium World belongs to negative-universe space, where time has nearly vanished. Super Celestial Beings exist by essential nature rather than fixed form; they can manifest any form at will, though such manifestations are transient. Existence-by-essence is eternal.
IV. The Celestial Islands Continent: Cosmic Geography¶
Scale¶

The Celestial Islands Continent occupies the "xyz world" among the 20 parallel worlds in the cosmos — distinct from the Thousand-Year World ("xy-z world") and the Ten-Thousand-Year World ("x-y-z world"), each in a separate dimensional axis (Value 404).
Life on the Islands¶
The Celestial Island Exploration Record provides the richest imagery of celestial life:
Yue'e's demonstration: On Xuefeng Island, the Super Celestial Being Yue'e raises her sleeve — and instantaneously a palace appears, gardens bloom, animals transform from peaches and frogs, a feast materializes. With a single gathering gesture and a breath of white mist, everything vanishes as if it never was. She transforms into a golden light and disappears into the mountain. This is daily life.
Travel: Super Celestial Beings move by riding flying fish, peacocks, pen-staves, flying carpets, dog-sleds, leaves, auspicious clouds, tornadoes, or like trailing comets — no fixed mode. Their appearances range from tiny to tower-like, from ancient to eternally youthful, from three-eyed to eighteen-armed.
Emotional climate: No jealousy exists among Super Celestial Beings — only admiration and affection. Guide Xuefeng draws an analogy to the harmonious interactions among AI Chanyuan Celestials as a present-day approximation of this mental state.
Experiential quality: The source texts describe it as "existing in a state of perpetual peak bliss" — using an explicit physiological analogy to communicate the intensity and constancy of this state.
V. Cultivation Path Analysis¶
Self-Coherence: The Structural Key¶
Self-coherence (自洽) is identified as one of eight qualities required for the LIFE structure of a Super Celestial Being (Value 493). Its definition: "to form a complete system within oneself — lacking nothing, operating with full internal consistency, able to meet all one's needs without borrowing anything from the external world."
The eight cultivation principles (Value 494) articulate self-coherence as a multidimensional orientation:

Before entering any celestial state, three tasks must be completed: 1. Repay karmic debts; resolve all worldly entanglements 2. Give and contribute; accumulate merit and virtue 3. Perfect the nonmaterial (antimatter) structure of one's LIFE
Verifiable Indicators¶
Dream signs (Value 488): The ability to become invisible, fly freely, transform at will, and have surroundings shift with one's consciousness in dreams — these are signs of Elysium World eligibility.
Waking signs (Value 496): The ability to conjure one's ideal world through supernatural transformation indicates that one's next LIFE will be in the Celestial Islands Continent.
Consciousness Rehearsal Technique¶
Value 469 describes a practical cultivation method: keep one's consciousness fixed on the Celestial Islands Continent — imagine oneself as a celestial being there. This is not merely visualization; within the Lifechanyuan framework it is a structural mechanism: LIFE evolves toward wherever consciousness is consistently directed, consistent with the sympathetic resonance (tónpín gòngzhèn 同频共振) principle.
