Super Celestial Beings of the Elysium World — Friendly Edition

What is the highest state a person can reach?

Most traditions offer vague answers: paradise, nirvana, unity with the divine. The Lifechanyuan system offers something unusual — a concrete one.

It is called a Super Celestial Being of the Elysium World.

Not a metaphor. Not a symbol. A specific kind of LIFE, with a real location, a describable way of existing, and even verifiable signs that you're heading there.

A world of 80 billion private islands

Imagine a galaxy shaped like a slowly spinning disc. Seen from 10,000 light-years away, it looks like a flying saucer made of mist and dust — about 300,000 light-years across. The "mist" is a flowing celestial river; the "dust" is 80 billion planets, each roughly the size of Earth, floating in the river like islands in an ocean.

Each island has a name. Each island is home to exactly one being.

That being is a Super Celestial Being (tiān xiān 天仙) — and this place is the Celestial Islands Continent, within the Elysium World.

What is a Super Celestial Being like?

A scene from the source texts

On one of these islands — called Xuefeng Island — lives a Super Celestial Being named Yue'e.

A party of visitors arrives to a barren plain. Yue'e smiles and sweeps her long sleeve upward.

Instantly: a palace of red brick and jade-green tiles, with corridors and pavilions stretching for miles. An orchard of a thousand species of trees — bamboo groves, peach gardens, weeping willows, cherry trees. A pond with lotus flowers, swans, mandarin ducks, goldfish, frogs.

Peaches fall from the trees and become beautifully dressed celestial maidens, holding fruit platters. Frogs leap onto the bank and become handsome young men, holding glass pitchers and amber goblets.

After the visit, the guests prepare to leave. Yue'e gathers her hands together and breathes out a stream of white mist —

Palace, gardens, creatures, frogs, ducks: all gone. The plain is barren again.

She shakes her body, becomes a flash of golden light, and vanishes into the mountain.

This is a typical afternoon.

How they get around

Super Celestial Beings have no fixed mode of travel:

  • Some ride flying fish
  • Some sit on peacocks
  • Some perch on a single pen-stave
  • Some ride flying carpets, dog-sleds, or giant leaves
  • Some surf auspicious clouds or ride inside tornadoes
  • Some move like tiny comets with trailing tails

Their appearances are equally varied — some tiny, some towering, some ancient-looking with beards to the ground, some with three eyes or eighteen arms. The female celestials are mostly "beautiful and enchanting."

No dress code. No uniform. Only individual nature, freely expressed.

The one defining fact

Here is the core definition in the source texts:

"Super Celestial Beings are the most free, the most joyful, and the most blessed beings in the entire universe — the beloved of the Greatest Creator, bearing no responsibilities and fulfilling no obligations."

No responsibilities. No obligations.

This might seem counterintuitive to those of us who assume that "higher" means "more serious." In the Lifechanyuan framework, it works the other way: the higher the tier, the freer the being. Super Celestial Beings are at the top — and their sole purpose is to enjoy existence.

The source texts describe the experiential quality of the Celestial Islands Continent as a state of perpetual, unending bliss — a peak joy that does not fade. This is what the name Elysium World (极乐界, "the realm of supreme bliss") refers to.

Super Celestial Beings and Buddhas: the difference

Both are highly advanced LIFE forms in the Lifechanyuan system. But they travel different paths.

A Super Celestial Being uses supernatural powers for play. Has no duties. Exists at the ultimate limit of human LIFE evolution — there is nowhere higher for humans to go.

A Buddha uses supernatural powers for responsibility and obligation. Continues developing without a defined ceiling. Has more constraints, but also greater ultimate potential.

Think of it this way: the Super Celestial path leads to an eternal vacation; the Buddha path continues indefinitely as a demanding vocation.

"Becoming a Super Celestial Being requires no prohibitions whatsoever. Becoming a Buddha requires strict precautions."

How do you get there?

Step one: Complete three unavoidable tasks

"To go from human to celestial or buddha, three things must be done: repay your karmic debts and resolve all worldly entanglements; give and contribute, accumulate merit and virtue; perfect and beautify the nonmaterial structure of your LIFE."

These are prerequisites, not options. The path does not open until they are addressed.

Step two: Cultivate self-coherence

The specific quality required to enter the Celestial Islands Continent is called self-coherence (zìqià 自洽).

What does self-coherence mean? The source text defines it as: "forming a complete system within oneself — lacking nothing, operating in full internal consistency, able to meet all one's needs without borrowing anything from the external world."

This is not emotional self-reliance in the ordinary sense. It is a structural state of LIFE: one in which consciousness actively creates reality, attachments to life, death, honor, and shame dissolve, all phenomena are held lightly as a kind of play, and the boundary between the "real" and the "dreamlike" becomes fluid.

Eight specific principles guide this cultivation — from "consciousness creates reality" and "life and death without attachment," to "own nothing, possess everything" and "the real is like a dream."

Step three: Pay attention to your dreams

The source texts offer a surprisingly specific sign:

"If in your dreams you can become invisible, fly freely, transform at will, and have your surroundings shift with your consciousness — that is a sign you are capable of going to the Elysium World."

If your dreams are becoming more free — more fluid, more self-determined — that may not be random. It may be feedback.

Optional: conscious rehearsal

One of the "secrets of becoming a celestial being" is this: keep your consciousness directed toward the Celestial Islands Continent. Imagine yourself as a celestial being there.

"If one continuously places one's consciousness in the Celestial Islands Continent, one's LIFE structure will evolve in that direction."

This is not wishful thinking in the Lifechanyuan framework — it is how LIFE evolution works: you become what you consistently envision.

In summary

The Super Celestial Being of the Elysium World is the Lifechanyuan answer to the question "what is the highest state a person can reach?" — a specific, joyful, eternal, responsibilityless existence on a private island in a galaxy of 80 billion islands, where time has nearly stopped, everything can be transformed at will, and bliss is the permanent condition.

It is a destination you can start moving toward now — through how you live, what you repay, what you give, and where you place your mind.
