Overview¶

Flirtatious banter (打情骂俏) is a key component of Lifechanyuan's "Chaotic Cultivation Method" (浑沌修炼法) — a full-spectrum practice approach. It refers to playful, affectionate teasing and jokes among community members, conducted spontaneously and without fixed targets, with no aim of possessing anyone. Through this practice, members open their hearts, dissolve jealousy and possessiveness, and cultivate the consciousness of celestial beings (仙), which is a prerequisite for entering advanced stages of cultivation.

I. Definition and Nature¶

First, use the method of flirtatious banter. When this atmosphere exists in the community, we should actively participate, open our hearts wide, allow ourselves to feel hurt, hurt and hurt again, until we finally develop resistance and immunity — until we see it so often it becomes normal.

II. Distinctions and Boundaries¶

Flirtatious banter ≠ Romantic pursuit

In this community, you may engage in flirtatious banter freely — but falling in love is different. Flirtatious banter is spontaneous, without fixed targets, simply a kind of game. Romantic pursuit is one-to-one, exclusive, and is purely the psychology and behavior of ordinary worldly people.

Random targets, not fixed ones

We must not direct flirtatious banter at only one or a few people. It must follow the occasion — "whoever you meet, that's who you play with." This way, you end up with passionate feeling toward no one in particular, and your heart becomes calm. If you only banter with one or two people, the more you do it, the more you will pine for them, fantasize about them, and find no peace.

IV. Cultivation Practice¶

Prerequisite for advanced cultivation

Until jealousy, possessiveness, and the desire for control are gone, flirtatious banter in the community will not stop. Those who will enter advanced cultivation in the future are first and foremost those who banter freely and decently. Anyone who does not participate in flirtatious banter can forget about entering advanced cultivation.

The core mechanism: consciousness transformation

The method the Guide currently uses is to let everyone use the virtual space of the website to turn the community into an environment resembling the life of celestials in the Thousand-Year World — allowing people to open the locks on their minds, talk of love, and engage in flirtatious banter. Don't think this is easy. If your consciousness hasn't transformed, you simply won't be able to truly merge with everyone around you. Consciousness determines behavior. To enjoy the bliss of the Celestial Islands, you must first transform your consciousness. That is the supreme method.

Xuefeng leads by example

My flirtatious banter with the female Chanyuan Celestials — I genuinely like several of them… but more fundamentally, I am using my own behavior to fully transform everyone's consciousness. V. Obstacles and Opposition¶

Jealousy and possessiveness are the root obstacles

Ask yourself honestly: when the person you love grows close to someone else, doesn't it hurt deeply — as though someone is tearing out your heart? … This is the emotion of ordinary worldly people. As long as we don't remove this jealousy and possessiveness, our LIFE cannot be elevated, and we have absolutely no qualifications to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Those who don't participate have inner obstacles

Those in the community who never or rarely engage in flirtatious banter certainly have obstacles in their heart. They have certainly developed a special relationship with someone of the opposite sex — either they are already in love and don't want to interact with others, or they are afraid that the other person will be upset, endangering the special relationship.

Of course, when a person has cultivated themselves into a piece of wood, a zombie, or a vegetable, they won't want to engage in flirtatious banter either.
