Abstract

Within the Lifechanyuan system, "Hell" is a cosmological concept designating the three lowest parallel worlds in the universe's 36-dimensional space: the Underworld (Yinjian), the Frozen Layer (Bingdong Ceng), and the Fire-Tempering Layer (Huolian Ceng). Hell is not a psychological metaphor or mythological narrative, but a real spatial domain established within the antimatter world coordinate system. Its existence is supported by both the law of the unity of opposites and inferences from quantum physics. Entry into Hell follows the causal-karmic law of reincarnation in strict correspondence with specific character deficiencies. Hell serves as an integral component of the universe's symmetric balance of LIFE.

I. Ontological Classification

1.1 Two Complementary Definitions

The source texts offer two definitions that together constitute a complete understanding:

Structural definition: "The Fire-Tempering Layer, the Frozen Layer, and the Underworld are collectively what is commonly referred to as Hell." (Concept 365) — Hell is the collective name for three distinct spaces, not a single unified realm.

Essence definition: "What is Hell? A place without love is Hell." (Concept 585) — Hell's experiential essence is the absolute absence of love, which correlates directly with the spiritual level of the beings inhabiting it.

1.2 Coordinates in the 20 Parallel Worlds System

According to the Chanyuan Corpus (Antimatter World section), the three layers of Hell occupy the following coordinates:

Layer Coordinate
Underworld (Yinjian) (-X)(-Y) world
Frozen Layer (-X)(-Z) world
Fire-Tempering Layer (-Y)(-Z) world

All three occupy the negative-value regions of the coordinate system, representing the lowest tier of LIFE spaces — distinct from the Human World (XY) and the various Celestial/Buddhist realms (positive Z-axis domains).

1.3 Position in the LIFE Reincarnation Cycle

The complete LIFE cycle (from highest to lowest) runs: Celestial Realm → Elysium World → Yin Pole Black Hole → Ten-Thousand-Year World → Thousand-Year World → Human World → Yang Pole Black Hole → Domestic Animal Realm → Animal Realm → Plant Realm → Underworld → Frozen Layer → Fire-Tempering Layer. Hell occupies the lowest end of the cycle but remains within the reincarnation system: LIFE in Hell does not re-enter the Human World directly and must pass through intermediate layers.

II. Epistemological Foundations

2.1 The Law of the Unity of Opposites

"From the law of the unity of opposites: where there is left, there must be right; where there is high, there must be low; where there is positive, there must be negative; where there is yang, there must be yin; where there is the human world, there must be Heaven and Hell." (Xuefeng Corpus · To Jackie Chan)

Hell's existence is a logical necessity — not a punitive design invented by deities, but the structural counterpart of Heaven within the cosmic polarity.

2.2 Quantum Physics as Corroboration

"The wave-particle duality tells us that the essence of things is related to the consciousness of the observer; different consciousness creates different realities. From this we can conclude that Heaven and Hell exist, just as the rich and the poor exist." (Concept 790)

2.3 The Mechanism of Consciousness Co-Creation

"Heaven and Hell are real worlds co-created by beings whose consciousness resonates at the same frequency — just as everything on Earth was co-created by those who have passed through it." (Concept 385)

Hell is not imposed from outside; it is a genuine space brought into being and sustained by the shared resonance of beings with compatible consciousness states.

III. Entry Mechanisms: Karma and Reincarnation

3.1 The Three Hellish Destinations and Their Causes

Hellish Layer Entry Condition Source
Ghost Path / Underworld Malice (e'du) Concept 364
Frozen Layer Tyranny (badao) Concept 364
Fire-Tempering Layer Cruelty (canren) Concept 364

3.2 The Root Cause: Selfishness

"The selfless belong to the Heavenly LIFE; the self-interested belong to the Human LIFE; the heavily selfish belong to the Hellish LIFE." (Concept 353)

"Selfishness is the root of misery and the first ticket to Hell." (Concept 105)

3.3 The Greatest Creator's Reward-Punishment System

"Going to Heaven after death is a reward; going to the Animal Realm or Hell is a punishment." (Chanyuan Corpus · Pathways of Heavenly Reward and Punishment)

"I have likewise prepared the lower realm of LIFE — the Underworld, the Frozen Layer, the Fire-Tempering Layer — for those who deny, curse, and turn from me." (Chanyuan Corpus · Translating the Words of the Greatest Creator)

IV. Consciousness Orientation and Destination

4.1 Degree of Freedom as a Quantifiable Metric

"The greater the freedom, the closer to Heaven; the lesser the freedom, the closer to Hell." (Concept 382)

This provides an operational dimension: a being's freedom of consciousness, behavior, and love maps directly onto its position in the cosmic hierarchy.

4.2 The Six Qualities as Directional Determinants

"When a person holds consciousness of truth, goodness, beauty, love, faith, and sincerity toward all things, they move toward the beautiful and toward Heaven; the opposite leads toward ugliness and toward Hell." (Chanyuan Corpus · Where Is the Greatest Creator)

V. Hell's Function in the Cosmic System

Hell is not merely a place of punishment; it serves a structural function in cosmic symmetric balance: "We must consider the symmetric balance of all LIFE in cosmic space." (Tour Guide's Articles, 2006) This means Hell's existence is as necessary as Heaven's — both are required to maintain the integrity of the cosmic LIFE system.

VI. Comparative Overview

Dimension Lifechanyuan Traditional Religion
Ontological status Real parallel spatial dimensions, expressible in coordinates Often symbolic or mythic realms
Composition Three distinct worlds (Underworld / Frozen Layer / Fire-Tempering Layer) Usually a single unified infernal realm
Entry mechanism Natural karmic consequence tied to specific character traits Divine judgment (God, Yama, etc.)
Escape route Does not lead directly to Human World; long karmic cycle required Some traditions offer salvation or redemption
Creative agency Co-created by beings with resonant consciousness Decreed by divine authority
