Steadfast Principles · Trust the Home (Internal Reference)

I. Definitions and Essence

Steadfast Principles

"Uphold the 800 New Era Human Concepts — revere the Greatest Creator, revere LIFE, revere nature, walk the way of the Greatest Creator, pursue a life of joy, happiness, freedom and bliss, pursue the evolution of LIFE toward the Celestial Realm, the Millennium Realm, the Ten-Thousand-Year Realm, the Elysian Realm on the Celestial Islands Continent, strive to settle worldly debts and ultimately enter the Second Home to live the new human life. Other thoughts need not be accepted. There is no need to spend time and energy exploring them. One heart, one mind, total focus on Chanyuan principles — this is how consciousness achieves order." (Other writings of the Guide · 2010 · Order, Health, and Efficiency — On Building the Home)

"Rely on the Greatest Creator! Rely on Chanyuan principles! Rely on the Second Home! This is how we realize our ideals of LIFE and living. All other paths are detours." (Other writings of the Guide · 2008 · Principles Over Sentimentality)

Trust the Home

"We must establish a culture of trusting the Greatest Creator, trusting the Home, and trusting ourselves. Human beings are not to be relied upon. Trusting a person will inevitably lead to life tragedies; it will inevitably bring a series of confusion and suffering; it will inevitably make you a burden to yourself and others; it will inevitably make you a slave and victim of others, unable to live as your true self." (Xuefeng Corpus · Essays · Trusting the Home — Second Home Cultural Construction, Part Five)

"Trust the Greatest Creator! Trust the Home! Trust yourself! As long as your will is firm, your resolve is set, and you press forward with all your strength, nothing can block the path to the Celestial Realm." (Xuefeng Corpus · Essays · Walking Toward Heaven, Leaving the Noise of the World Behind)

II. The Full Meaning of Trusting the Home

The Shift from Trusting People to Trusting the Home

"'At home rely on parents; away from home rely on friends.' This is one element of traditional culture. In the real human world, to survive and thrive, people mainly rely on personal relationships... Whenever the object of one's reliance develops problems, a series of interpersonal conflicts and emotional suffering arise... Once the object of reliance is shifted from people to the Home, all these phenomena heal themselves and vanish like smoke." (Xuefeng Corpus · Essays · Trusting the Home — Second Home Cultural Construction, Part Five)

"Every Chanyuan Celestial's clothing, food, housing, transport, aging, illness, and death are handled by the Home. The care of elders and the education of children are handled by the Home. Emotional and sexual needs are freely and openly guaranteed by the Home. The Home provides every Chanyuan Celestial with a stage to display their talents. In this way, we can completely transform what traditional culture placed in personal relationships into dependence on the Home. As a result, interpersonal relationships become pure and simple, natural and harmonious — those living together share only warmth and joy, kindness and affection." (Xuefeng Corpus · Essays · Trusting the Home — Second Home Cultural Construction, Part Five)

How to Trust the Home

"View the Home as your place of livelihood and nurture; view the Home as your stage for exercising wisdom and talent; view the Home as the best environment for attaining joy, happiness, freedom, and bliss; view the Home as the fertile soil for manifesting your qualities of truth, kindness, beauty, love, faith, and sincerity to their utmost; view every Chanyuan Celestial in the Home as your brother, sister, family member, and beloved." (Xuefeng Corpus · Essays · Trusting the Home — Second Home Cultural Construction, Part Five)

"Love the Home. Contribute your talent and wisdom to the Home selflessly. Do each piece of work you have chosen in the Home according to your interests and preferences, carefully and thoroughly. Strive for first-rate performance and first-rate results. Give more to the Home each day than you receive. At the same time, continuously elevate the quality of your LIFE, perfect your antimatter structure, and ceaselessly climb toward the highest realm of LIFE." (Xuefeng Corpus · Essays · Trusting the Home — Second Home Cultural Construction, Part Five)

"How to trust the Home? Uphold the 800 New Era Human Concepts — this is the most fundamental guarantee for realizing both personal aspirations and the Home's ideals." (Xuefeng Corpus · Essays · Trusting the Home — Second Home Cultural Construction, Part Five)

The Essence of Trusting the Home

"The Lifechanyuan Second Home is the kingdom of the Greatest Creator, a thoroughly communistic community. Here there is no marriage, no fixed opposite-sex attachment. We trust the Greatest Creator, trust the Home, and do not trust people. Every member is not only emotionally independent of any individual but also, for their future ideal life, does not depend on any person. We are each an independently civilized, free human being." (Xuefeng Corpus · Chanyuan Chapter · The Successful Surgical Operation on the Home)

"Chanyuan Celestials already possess the Second Home. The Home resolves all problems of clothing, food, housing, transport, aging, illness, and death. So love the Home, rely on the Home, and completely transform the former view of depending on people into trusting the Home." (Xuefeng Corpus · Soul Chapter · To Escape Pain, Change Your Outlook on Life and Values)

III. Steadfast Principles: Standards and Significance

Principles Over Sentimentality

"I have said many times that Chanyuan Celestials must uphold Chanyuan principles, placing principles above all else, and must not build special individual relationships with one another... Chanyuan Celestials should value principles over sentimentality. This directly concerns whether we can become celestial, whether we can reach the Celestial Realm. Even at the Millennium Realm, there is no distinction between close and distant. That distinction belongs to earthly consciousness. If Chanyuan Celestials still differentiate between intimate and distant, deciding what to say based on how well they get along with someone, while ignoring Chanyuan principles — then we are wrong. We do not understand the life of the Celestial Realm. We remain only human, unable to become celestial." (Other writings of the Guide · 2008 · Principles Over Sentimentality)

"In this Home, regardless of who it is, whoever upholds Chanyuan principles is our brother, sister, family, and beloved. Whoever does not uphold Chanyuan principles is not our brother, sister, family, or beloved. Once someone abandons Chanyuan principles, the relationship as brother, sister, family, and beloved immediately disappears." (Other writings of the Guide · 2008 · Principles Over Sentimentality)

Clarity of Mind at All Times

"At any time and under any circumstances, every Chanyuan Celestial in the Home must maintain a high degree of mental clarity. Principles must be upheld. Otherwise, the Home will move toward failure, individuals will move toward power struggles, and the Home will evolve into an organization of scheming and infighting." (Xuefeng Corpus · Q&A Chapter · Conglong Grass Asks About Collective Decision-Making)

"Steadfastly uphold principles, steadfastly keep to the Home, walk along the Guide's Route Map — over time, you will become a celestial and arrive at the Elysian Realm on the Celestial Islands Continent." (Chanyuan Corpus · Celestial Cultivation Chapter · A Simple 'Diagram' of the Consciousness Structure of a Celestial)

Twenty-Six Unwavering Commitments (Core Selections)

"Under any circumstances, maintain the following twenty-six unwavering commitments: 1. Reverence for the Greatest Creator, for LIFE, for nature; walking the Way of the Greatest Creator — unwavering. 6. The conviction to create a new era for humanity where 'no talent is wasted, all under heaven are one family' and 'nothing lost goes unclaimed, no door needs to be locked at night,' where everyone is joyful, happy, free, and blessed — unwavering. 13. Confidence in continuing to build the Second Home as a new model for human production and living — unwavering. 14. Upholding civilized norms of speech and action under all circumstances — unwavering. 15. Upholding the virtues of diligence, kindness, honesty, simplicity, and integrity — unwavering. 20. Belief in the Greatest Creator and belief in goodness — unwavering. 26. The courage, boldness, resolve, and will to keep climbing toward the highest realm of LIFE — unwavering.

The Dharma has no fixed form — it transforms infinitely, unchanging within change, changing within the unchanging. But no matter how much it transforms, the core must remain unchanged. If the core is altered, it means digging one's own grave and seeking one's own destruction. If the core is always kept unchanged, one will ultimately fulfill one's aspirations and realize one's ideals." (Xuefeng Corpus · Chanyuan Chapter · Twenty-Six Unwavering Commitments of Lifechanyuan)

IV. Obstacles and Their Opposites

The Consequences of Trusting People

"Brothers, sisters, family, and loved ones — human beings are unreliable. Relationships between people are all based on interest. Everyone determines closeness based on benefit and harm. Once you have no value, people will abandon you. Therefore we must handle Home affairs and relationships through Chanyuan principles, and must never allow personal sentimentality to cause us to betray Chanyuan principles and lose the opportunity to elevate the quality of our LIFE." (Other writings of the Guide · 2008 · Principles Over Sentimentality)

"Not trusting the Greatest Creator, not trusting oneself — placing one's food, clothing, shelter, transport, aging, illness, death, and happiness in the hands of others, always wanting to depend on others... such a person will inevitably suffer throughout their life." (Chanyuan Corpus · Human Life Chapter · Eighteen Sources of Human Suffering)

The Consequences of Wavering

"Once conviction wavers, we will face confusion, will move toward chaos and darkness, will find no shore in the boundless sea of suffering, will be at a loss and become a wandering spirit, will forfeit all previous gains and live with lifelong regret!" (Xuefeng Corpus · Inspiration Chapter · Unwavering Conviction)

V. Perseverance in Adversity

"No matter how great the difficulties we temporarily encounter, we must steadfastly uphold our faith, our principles, and our Home. The best way for civilization to defeat barbarism is to uphold civilization." (Xuefeng Corpus · Warning Chapter · This Is a Contest Between Civilization and Barbarism, Part Six)

"As long as we uphold our faith, our principles, and our Home, people will gradually come to understand. Central and local governments will support us. All mist will gradually dissipate, and we will inevitably usher in a glorious dawn." (Xuefeng Corpus · Inspiration Chapter · Further Perfecting the Communistic Community)

"Even if you have doubts and things you cannot yet understand, do not abandon your choice. Uphold principles, keep to the Home — one day, everything will suddenly become clear." (Chanyuan Corpus · Inspiration Chapter · Xuefeng's Current State of Mind)

"Let us maintain unwavering conviction and wait for the day we return to the Home." (Other writings of the Guide · 2021 · Waiting for the Day We Return to the Home)

VI. The Ultimate Horizon

"As long as conviction is unwavering, we can overcome all difficulties, escape all misfortune, and realize our long-cherished ideals!" (Xuefeng Corpus · Inspiration Chapter · Unwavering Conviction)

"Whether you are obedient or not is unimportant. Upholding principles is what truly matters." (Xuefeng Corpus · Chanyuan Chapter · What Matters and What Doesn't in the Kingdom of the Greatest Creator)
