Celestials of the Ten-Thousand-Year World (Friendly Edition)

Beyond the Thousand-Year World

You may already know about the Thousand-Year World: a real planet 960 light-years from Earth where LIFE endures for approximately one thousand years. Its inhabitants β€” the Celestials of the Thousand-Year World β€” have no supernatural powers. What makes them celestial is entirely internal: they've released attachment, fear, regret, and the grip of ego. It's essentially a perfected, extended version of human life.

So what comes next?

The Ten-Thousand-Year World.

3,480 light-years from Earth. Sixteen times Earth's size. Sixteen suns. About one hundred million inhabitants, each living for approximately 35,000 years.

But the real difference isn't scale. It's what they can do.

The First Tier That Can Actually Fly

Celestials of the Thousand-Year World cannot fly. They have no extraordinary powers at all. The Ten-Thousand-Year World is where that changes.

These celestials have genuine supernatural abilities. They can fly. They need no food or water. They're immortal in the ordinary sense β€” aging doesn't happen β€” and they can choose the moment of their own departure.

But even here, the abilities come gradually. No one arrives in the Ten-Thousand-Year World already flying:

  • On arrival: walk the ground like anyone else β€” no flight
  • After ~10,000 years of cultivation: hover three feet above the ground
  • After ~20,000 years: fly over mountain ranges
  • After ~30,000 years: fly at 80,000 meters β€” well above where weather happens

The Ten-Thousand-Year World has a place called Wangtian Cliff β€” "Cliff Looking to Heaven" β€” the most famous site in the entire world. There's no path to it, no handholds, no way to climb. The only way to reach it is flight. Of approximately one hundred million celestials, only around eight thousand can get there. It's the unofficial benchmark for the highest level of cultivation the world contains.

Even What They Eat Tells a Story

Diet shifts in the same graduated pattern:

  • Newly arrived: hard fruits β€” walnuts, dates
  • After ~10,000 years: soft fruits β€” peaches, grapes
  • After ~20,000 years: only spring water rich in minerals; no more fruit
  • After ~30,000 years: no physical food at all β€” direct absorption of the luminous essence of sun and moon, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth

It's a kind of long arc toward total independence from material intake β€” something classical Daoist practice gestured toward with "abstaining from grains" and "ingesting qi," but here presented as a staged, cosmologically grounded reality rather than a meditational technique.

What Life Is Like

Everyone is unclothed. No exceptions, no coverings. The texts describe it simply: "Nothing is hidden." The system understands this as the natural state when vibrational frequency has risen past a certain threshold β€” when there's no longer any internal need to conceal or present oneself in a particular way. Dance is described as "every movement transmits energy, every form expresses subtle wonder."

There's an eternal-night zone. Sixteen suns divide the planet into sixteen zones of different brightness. One zone stays permanently dark. But that zone is full of gems β€” countless varieties, glittering in the darkness. Every Ten-Thousand-Year World celestial makes the trip to gather them, using the gems to illuminate and adorn their cave dwelling: light, absorbed essence, and beauty all at once.

They're still in school, in a sense. Ten-Thousand-Year World celestials are not yet fully free. The texts are plain about this: "So long as one is a Ten-Thousand-Year World celestial, one must still follow one's teacher and continue cultivating the Tao." Complete freedom β€” where nothing depends on external circumstances, where everything can be created from within β€” belongs to the Celestial Islands Continent, still above.

Thirty-five thousand years of life, a significant portion of it spent in ongoing cultivation.

The Central Practice: Connection Without Contact

This is perhaps the sharpest contrast between the Thousand-Year World and the Ten-Thousand-Year World.

In the Thousand-Year World, the two sexes still come together physically. Physical contact remains the mode through which the deepest forms of connection and bliss are experienced.

In the Ten-Thousand-Year World, physical contact has ended.

Instead, merely thinking of someone β€” or seeing them β€” is enough:

Merely thinking of or seeing the object of one's love immediately brings stillness to the heart-mind, a continuous gentle bliss, a doubling of energy, and a radiant luminous brilliance of love.

Western philosophy has a name for something structurally similar: Platonic love β€” connection that operates entirely at the level of mind and spirit, with no need for bodily union. In Lifechanyuan terms, this isn't a philosophical position but a natural consequence of reaching a higher vibrational frequency. The need for physical contact doesn't get suppressed β€” it dissolves, because something fuller has taken its place.

Your Dreams Might Already Know Where You're Headed

The system offers a way to read your current LIFE-structure level through what happens when you sleep:

  • Dreams of green mountains and peaceful, joyful scenery β†’ orientation toward the Thousand-Year World
  • Frequent flying in dreams, plus remaining in a state of bliss with someone of the other sex without physical contact β†’ orientation toward the Ten-Thousand-Year World
  • Dream-state transformation, invisibility, scenery that shifts with your thoughts β†’ orientation toward the Elysium World

This is the system's way of making an otherwise invisible question β€” "where is my cultivation actually pointing?" β€” observable through ordinary experience.

A Way Station, Not the Destination

The Ten-Thousand-Year World is the third of five celestial tiers. It's not the end of the path:

Human world β†’ Thousand-Year World (perfected human nature) β†’ Ten-Thousand-Year World (real supernatural abilities) β†’ Divine celestials (no fixed abode, unlimited transformation) β†’ Heavenly celestials (Celestial Islands Continent β€” freest, happiest, no responsibilities)

Thirty-five thousand years of flight, starlight, gem caves, and ongoing cultivation. And then the next step.
