I. The Nature of Utopia: An Expression of Heavenly Consciousness¶
Hayek's Ignorance of Utopia
Utopia is a pursuit and aspiration of those among humanity who possess a consciousness of Heaven. Those without a profound understanding of life and space-time, those ignorant of humanity's ultimate purpose, those who do not know and do not aspire toward Heaven — they will never understand the inner and outer dimensions of Utopia. The reason Hayek is ignorant of Utopia is that Hayek is a person — a materialist, a realist, a rationalist — but absolutely not a soul that has transcended human nature and possesses the life of Heaven.
Planned economy has nothing to do with Utopia; government has nothing to do with Utopia; property has nothing to do with Utopia; law and governance have nothing to do with Utopia. The Thousand-Year World of Heaven is a through-and-through, pure and genuine Utopia that has existed for hundreds of thousands of years, still running perfectly and in good order.

Refuting "Utopia Ignores Human Nature"
To say that Utopia ignores basic human nature is to invert right and wrong and confuse black and white. Not to mention the heavenly Utopia of the Thousand-Year World — even the Second Home, Lifechanyuan's Utopia, is precisely the place where human nature is displayed and fully blossoms. What is this about "the road to hell being paved with good intentions"? Without beautiful intentions, how can a beautiful future come about? Are only base intentions capable of producing a beautiful future? What is the difference between a person who has lost beautiful intentions and a pig in a pigsty?

Utopia Is Composed of Those Who Own Nothing and Have Everything
The happiness, joy, and freedom attained by those who own nothing yet have everything is beyond the reach of billionaires. The truth understood and the wondrous life and spiritual realm experienced by the selfless and ego-free is beyond the horizon of those trapped in self and self-interest. And Utopia is composed precisely of these noble lives — those who own nothing, have everything, and are selfless and ego-free. Those without accumulated karmic blessings from past lives and sincere reverence for nature have no connection with life in Utopia.
When people pursue material wealth, power, status, and fame, do not forget — there are always those who trek and climb toward the summit of life and existence. They are humanity's hope and lighthouse. They are those who wish to build Utopia. Their inner life dwells in Utopian society. They are the ones among humanity most likely to enter Heaven.

II. Historical Utopian Exploration and Its Failures¶
Utopia and the Second Home
The pursuit of an ideal realm, ideal society, ideal life, and ideal living is a shared human quality, and an enduring source of spiritual motivation. All the sages and philosophers of history shared the same wish: to guide humanity into an ideal society — whether Plato's Republic, Thomas More's Utopia, Bellamy's Looking Backward, Confucius's vision of the Grand Harmony, or Marxist-Leninist communist theory — all sought to bring humanity into an ideal society.
Humanity has explored the ideal society not only theoretically but also in practice — from the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and the most famous American utopian communities like Brook Farm, the Fruit Lands, the Shakers, and Pullman's capitalist utopia, to Soviet collective farms, Chinese people's communes, Osho's commune, and various utopian communities in Japan, the United States, and Canada — all trying to pioneer a path of the ideal.

The Eight Defects of Historical Utopian Theory and Practice
A synthesis of the theories, doctrines, and practices of utopian societies throughout history reveals eight main defects:
- No correct worldview; no correct understanding of the Greatest Creator; vague understanding of time and space; no credible belief system.
- No correct view of life; no comprehensive understanding of life's origin, development, and destination.
- No correct outlook on life; no clear understanding or definition of the value and meaning of life.
- Failure to escape the mental constraints of nation and family — still churning within those frameworks.
- Neglect of the human tendencies toward laziness, corruption, and despotism.
- Lack of systematic and clear theoretical explanation; heavy reliance on intimidation and threats, such as "going to hell."
- Suppressed or unguided sexuality and romantic love — either repressed or indulged, lacking spiritual and soul guidance.
- Life too monotonous, discipline too rigid, no allowance for acting on one's nature — lack of freedom.

Democracy as the Core Factor of Utopian Failure
Utopian ideals have flourished for a long time — but why do they all flash and vanish? Take Robert Owen, the utopian socialist who sold his estate to build "New Harmony" in America — a magnificent vision of human life — yet within four years it was empty and gone. I have studied this carefully: all failed utopias share one common characteristic — democracy. Democracy is one of the core factors leading to utopian failure.

III. The Second Home: True Utopian Realization¶
The Second Home Is the Utopia People Have Dreamed Of
To be honest, the Second Home created by Lifechanyuan is precisely the Utopia people have idealized and the communist society people have sought. Historical sages only thought and imagined — but we have turned people's ideals into reality.

Communism Is Fully Realized Here
We can now say that the Grand Harmony, the ideal republic, Utopia, the Land of Nowhere, the harmonious society, communism, the Kingdom of God, the Elysium World — all that these describe and seek amounts to a single principle: the highest ideal of living that humanity can attain.

This Is Not Utopia — It Is a "Live Simulation" Operating by the Way of the Greatest Creator
This is not Utopia — this is a "live simulation" operating by the Way of the Greatest Creator, a copy of the life and production model of the Thousand-Year World of Heaven, the Heaven closest to the human world.

IV. The Eight Characteristics of the Second Home¶
The Second Home that Lifechanyuan builds will have the following eight characteristics:
- Living by Lifechanyuan's values as the standard of life.
- Each contributing according to their ability; distributing according to need.
- No family, religious, political party, or national consciousness. No laws, regulations, precepts, or commandments.
- Relying entirely on the power of the soul; acting according to one's nature.
- Freedom in love and sexuality; living according to the lifestyle of Celestial Beings in the Thousand-Year World.
- Collective activities; communal dining.
- Division of labor not by assignment, but by each person's own choice of character.
- Endless entertaining activities; material abundance.

V. 800 Concepts¶
- The Second Home (Life Oasis) is not any form of organization — neither a political organization nor a religious organization. The Second Home is a very loosely constituted utopian community of like-minded people who voluntarily choose to live and produce in accordance with the New Era Human 800 Concepts, with no organizational structure, no power to formulate regulations beyond charters, conventions, or laws, and no power to act as any level of government in handling conflicts or legal violations.
