The Lifechanyuan Way of Cooperation: Not Coldness β Completeness¶
I. Start with a Question¶
Have you ever met someone who doesn't need anything from you, doesn't ask anything of you, welcomes you when you come, and does just fine when you don't?
Not cold. Not arrogant. Just β complete in themselves.
That is Lifechanyuan.
II. Why No Cooperation?¶
Guide Xuefeng gives the most direct answer in Lifechanyuan Is a Self-Coherent Open System:
Lifechanyuan is not a political organization, not a religious organization, not any form of organization whatsoever, and certainly not an economic institution set up to make money.
Lifechanyuan has no cooperative relationship with the United Nations, any national government, any political party, any religious body, any community, or any organization of any kind β and participates in none of their activities.
That sounds definitive. Why?
Xuefeng's answer: Lifechanyuan is already a self-contained system.
"Self-Coherence" means that one's inner system has formed a complete whole β lacking nothing, running in harmonious coordination internally, and needing nothing from the outside world to meet any of its needs.
A great tree does not need to borrow photosynthesis from another tree. It has its own roots, its own leaves, its own way of growing. Two trees standing side by side, each shining in its own light β how wonderful is that.
Lifechanyuan is one such tree.
III. Not Cooperative, But Not Closed¶
Here is something easily misunderstood: non-cooperation β closed off.
Xuefeng is explicit about this:
This "Self-Coherence" is not an absolutely closed system; it is, rather, an open system β open to LIFE in all layers of the cosmos, open to all nations, ethnicities, religions, and cultures in the world, open to every citizen of the earth.
Concept 800 of New Era Human 800 Concepts goes further:
The New Era Human 800 Concepts is an open system. As time and space shift, new thoughts, new ideas, and new methods will emerge in an endless stream. These 800 concepts must be continually updated and refined. As the era develops, what should be removed will be removed, and what should be added will be added. Never cling to convention, never impose a ceiling.
What is the difference?
Cooperation means two systems negotiate terms, make exchanges, and compromise with each other. Openness means a system draws in outside insights by its own standards β no compromise, no exchange.
Think of a person who reads books from every country and learns from all kinds of knowledge, but has no need to join a party or sign a partnership agreement. Absorbing is openness. Not negotiating is self-coherence.
Lifechanyuan works the same way β open to the whole world, but not looking for partners.
IV. One More Reason: The Guide Does Not Like to Negotiate¶
Xuefeng also offers a candid personal reason:
The guide enjoys "autocracy," embraces the Superman Philosophy β that is: either I follow you, or you follow me β no negotiation whatsoever. I do not like and am not willing to discuss, argue, or debate with others, and cooperation is precisely the program most prone to deliberation, discussion, and dispute.
This is not domineering β it is a clear value position. Cooperation implies discussion, compromise, and deliberation. Discussion and deliberation mean neither party is quite sure what they want.
Lifechanyuan knows exactly what it wants: to reach Heaven. Any cooperation unrelated to that goal holds no meaning.
V. How Does It Work Internally? Two Sets of Rules¶
No external cooperation does not mean internal chaos. Lifechanyuan has a clear internal order β two rules running in parallel:
The Big Rule: Hundun Management (Macro Level)¶
Hundun Management means no management at all. Everyone is master; everyone is servant. There is only a difference in division of labor β no relationship of leading and being led. No one may impose their will on another.
Each speaks their own words, does their own work, takes their own responsibility, cultivates their own path, walks their own road. Do not manage others' affairs; be responsible only to the Greatest Creator and to yourself.
Whoever makes a suggestion bears the responsibility. Do not help those who do not ask; help at once those who do.
This is the macro climate β everyone is free, everyone is accountable for their own choices.
The Small Rule: Superman Philosophy (Micro Level)¶
All affairs of the Home are divided and assigned by responsibility, and each person has the sole say in the domain they are responsible for. Whoever is responsible makes the call; whoever is responsible bears all the consequences.
When it comes to how a specific thing gets done β whoever is responsible decides. No discussion, no democratic vote. Whatever the Branch Director arranges, that is what gets done.
Macro freedom + micro clarity. At the large scale, each person is fully autonomous; at the small scale, every task has a clear owner. Together, these two rules make the Second Home both free and efficient.
VI. Two Forms of Cooperation Lifechanyuan Will Accept¶
First: Cooperation with Farm Owners¶
Xuefeng says there is one form of cooperation that is welcome:
If a farm owner is willing to cooperate with Lifechanyuan, the condition is that the farm be fully entrusted to Lifechanyuan to manage. Lifechanyuan takes on all responsibilities for the farm owner's family β food, clothing, housing, transportation, birth, aging, illness, and death. Once the terms are established, they are never altered.
The purpose is not profit β it is to build the farm into an ecological paradise.
The precondition for this cooperation is "full entrustment" β the farm owner steps back completely and enters the Lifechanyuan orbit. This is not a negotiation. It is an entrustment and a reception.
Second: Brotherly-Sisterly Relationships¶
With communities that share similar values, a special relationship is possible:
Mutual non-interference in each other's management affairs, with only mutual dispatch of members for exchange visits, and mutual exchange of experience in cultural matters and the techniques of ecological construction.
Stars each shine in their own light β but they can illuminate each other. No merging, no interference, just exchange.
VII. Want to Join? There Is a Procedure¶
If you find Lifechanyuan's concepts resonate and you would like to enter the Second Home to live, Xuefeng describes a clear path (Concept 653):
First, come to understand New Era Human 800 Concepts; then, spend half a year interacting with the community on the LIFE Oasis website; if during that time you find it satisfying, you may submit an application; once there are no more worldly entanglements tying you down, you may enter the Second Home (LIFE Oasis) to live.
No complicated application forms, no interview, no negotiation. Understand, interact, apply β and when the time is right, it happens naturally.
VIII. A Final Summary¶
The Lifechanyuan Way of Cooperation can be said in one sentence:
Complete in itself, and therefore not in need of cooperation β but welcoming to everyone who recognizes this path.
Not coldness β completeness. Not closed β principled openness. Not authoritarianism β clarity of responsibility.
