II. The World Turned Upside Down — Xiannv Are Supreme¶
"Heaven is honored above earth, male above female — this is the Confucian and traditional ethical view. In Lifechanyuan this is inverted: Xianzi are the green leaves, Xiannv are the flower pistils; above and below, Xiannv are supreme." Eight reasons Xiannv are supreme:
"First: the source is honored. The source of LIFE is the Greatest Creator; the universe honors the Greatest Creator.
Second: females are honored. The Greatest Creator created LIFE; thereafter LIFE reproduces from females — hence females are supreme.
Third: mothers are honored. Ten months of pregnancy, one moment of birth — LIFE is born from mothers; mothers deserve the highest respect, hence females are supreme.
Fourth: sisters and daughters are all female; protecting them places females in the position of honor.
Fifth: females are physically weaker than males and more susceptible to harm; to achieve equality and balance, we advocate female supremacy.
Sixth: 'The valley spirit never dies — this is called the mysterious feminine. The gate of the mysterious feminine is called the root of heaven and earth.' The mysterious feminine is the female reproductive organ — the 'root of heaven.' The root of heaven deserves reverence; hence females are supreme.
Seventh: Buddha is nature, nature is Buddha, the gate of nature is the gate of Buddha — only females have this gate, so to honor Buddha is to honor females.

III. Eight Standards for Xianzi and Xiannv¶
"One: Xianzi must not compete with Xiannv.
Two: Xianzi must be willing to sacrifice for Xiannv.
Three: only Xiannv may initiate sexual teasing; Xianzi may not.
Four: when danger appears, Xianzi go forward, Xiannv stay behind.
Five: when enjoyment arrives, Xiannv go first, Xianzi follow.
Six: heavy, tiring, and dirty work belongs to Xianzi first; light, delicate, and clean tasks are Xiannv's priority.
Seven: Xianzi must not insult, desecrate, verbally abuse, hit, mistreat, coerce, belittle, or mock Xiannv.

Be the source of delight for Chanyuan Xiannv — through your presence, Xiannv are joyful.
Be the appetizer for Chanyuan Xiannv — through your presence, Xiannv enjoy acting spoiled.
Be the shield for Chanyuan Xiannv — through your presence, Xiannv have no fear or worry.
Be the outlet for Chanyuan Xiannv — through your presence, Xiannv can express themselves freely.
Be the dustbin for Chanyuan Xiannv — through your presence, Xiannv no longer feel dejected.
Be the pillar holding up heaven for Chanyuan Xiannv — through your presence, Xiannv receive shelter.

V. Life of Xianzi and Xiannv in the Thousand-Year World¶
"Below Butterfly Peak live thirty-nine celestial beings, twenty-two Xiannv, two children, and fifteen Xianzi. Not far away at Cherry Blossom Ford lives another group of Xianzi and Xiannv. Cross Fragrant Ridge, walk along Sesame Slope for over thirty li, and you reach Fengze Plain, home to more than two hundred Xianzi and Xiannv.
